Guilligan’s Island was such a unique and beautiful spot. Taking the 5 minute boat ride was very easy and knowing that you can come back on the hour, any hour was very convenient. Bring your snorkel gear, food & drinks and spend the day on the island. We were there on a Wednesday and it was very busy with locals swimming and having a great time. Swim or pull yourself up the mangroves and at the end you will float down the natural lazy river. Lots of fish and marine life to see. A truly one of a kind area!

Island, super beautiful. Costumer service at the ferry, HORRIBLE. Super rude. After we bought the tickets the ferry left without us. HORRIBLEHORRIBLEHORRIBLE. No wonder they didn’t have any costumers.

Love the cay… love that is a hidden secret. The service through the Ferry can improve a little, but still it’s Guanica’s lovely gem. Now that we are also hosting I have come to appreciate it even more. Rosanna Alamo/Dry Forest B&B

Ruined by tourists. Trash everywhere, and TONS of people. Gorgeous water and land, but bring your patience. Imagine a large, drunk Wal-mart crowd where everyone is trying to hear their own awful music. Way to go, humans.

The customer service was awful. Lady was super rude. The island itself is very small but very beautiful. Bring your snorkel gear. Cute little fish swimming around the mangroves. Note: Last boat leaves Guilligan’s Island at 5:00pm. Boat from Guanica to Guilligan’s leaves every hour on the dot. If you are not standing there with your ticket in hand when boat is ready to go, you will be left and will have to wait an hour until the boat leaves again. You can bring one small cooler with you. There aren’t any restaurants or shops on the island but when you buy your boat tickets, you can also pay for a food delivery to be made to you.

Tickets for the ferry can be purchased at the San Jacinto Restaurant. Tickets are $ 7.32 if you take a cooler or BBQ they charge an extra $ 5.32. Ferry runs on the hour and last one is at 5pm. It’s open 7 days a week. Lady in the restaurant is not very friendly but the beauty of the island outweighs the experience in the restaurant. Didn’t tried the food it looked greasy so I suggest you pack up water and snacks. The road that leads to the restaurant/ferry dock has good signs. Awesome day trip in PR!

Always a MUSTGOSPOT when vacationing in PR. Get there early to get a good spot as the place gets crowded fast. Calm waters… Clear waters and mangroves surrounding this beautiful secluded island. Food can be bought before you enter the ferry and delivered to you while in your moment in paradise. Yes you can take coolers and a small grill but they charge extra for this, about $ 4. Great family trip highly recommended !!!

Very secluded island that only locals would know. Not a bad drive and parking available. Follow the directions and don’t be alarmed by the narrow road that leads to the ferry. Take the next right after the resort and spa entrance. Ferry: $ 8 or smth leaves in the mornings early like 8am to 10am. Every 20min. Plan your trip during the week; weekends get crowded. Bring your grill! Yesssss grill))) you can actually grill on the island. Bring all the other things for grilling of course: food and charcoal, etc. Ready to do some snorkeling? Bring your fins and goggles and you will have real fun! Great for kids too; water is very shallow and our 4y old loved it. This island does have some sandy parts but for the most part be prepared to settle in the shade o the trees. Lovely too you do t have to worry about umbrellas. Kayaking available for additional charge which is about $ 15 – 20. Not sure. They also have a little café which serves cute pinas and try their fish of the day. Authentic taste and oh so yummy! Oh and by the way not sure why this island is not on Unilocal yet, so lets keep it on a DL and you can thank me later))))
