Sit on the beach and eat, or hang out at the bar that is right by the pool at Intercontinental Hotel. prices are about 15 bucks for anything on the menu and is typical OK pub grub and lighter salads. we had chicken nachos and chicken tenders with fries… nothing special but it served it’s purpose and we went back to the beach.

The hubs and I ate here several times during our nearly week-long stay at the Intercontinental. Everything we had was delicious and a generous portion. As usual with hotel dining, prices are a bit high… But at least it was quality food. We sampled the meat pizza, nachos supreme(sooo good!), hamburger with fries and the quesadilla. We were told the«bungee jumping» cocktail was the strongest without getting a 32 oz. drink, so we had that and it was pretty yummy. Service was good and you can’t beat the ocean view!

I came here because it was attached to my hotel. The service: the guy was quick to meet me at the table and offer me something to drink. He was very attentive when I needed something but wasn’t overbearing by popping by the table to frequently. The food/drinks: I got the Voodoo Drink, and my friend got some other tropical drink. we both felt our drinks weren’t really strong, but when my friend said something, they gladly made his next one a lot stronger. So just make sure you ask for your drink strong. I got the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza. The quality was typical for a hotel restaurant, but it wasn’t bad either. The price for the pizza was a bit much though, $ 17. The View: The view is the reason this review is getting 4 stars. Being able to sit on the sand and watch the sunset or you can sit on a patio canopied by trees is a great way to enjoy a couple of drinks or a meal.

This place is right on the beach in front of the Intercontinential. Because it’s on the beach, it was really overpriced bar food. Cuban sandwhich, which was good, was $ 14 and salad was $ 13. Service was decent. Looking at the beach is nice. Good place to eat if you’re hungry and can’t wait.

Ok. Had the capresi salad which was decent, but my partner had the nachos and was surprised to note that it wasn’t real cheese. Ew.

The food is good but they over charged! When I rechecked my credit card history, I found that they charged more than what I wrote down in the receipt!

It has a really bad service. I wait for an hour for the dish coming. They forget all my order. It is not worth that much!

Stayed at the intercontinental and ate at this beach side restaurant many many times! It was way better then some of the other restaurants I’ve been to around the area. The pizza is awesome(had it at least 2 – 3 times), Quesadilla are great too! Piña Colada are great and only $ 6 for virgin and $ 8 with rum! A lot better tasting and pricing then the splash bar at the pool! We had nachos and they were just okay. If you like cheese wiz you will like them. It’s worth the extra walking and getting the drinks from this restaurant! A bonus is its right on the beach and has a great view and breeze! Friendly service too! AA+

By default of staying at the Intercontinental, we have had drinks and snacks here every day. You really can’t beat sitting at a table overlooking both the beach and the fantastic pool at Intercontinental. Expect hotel prices. A glass of wine is $ 8, a virgin daiquiri is $ 6, a pizza is $ 15; not really that bad. Staff is very friendly and attentive. We’ll be heading there for lunch this afternoon :)

The food is just average here. They have basic burgers, sandwiches, and drinks of course. They’re best feature is being right on the sandy shores of a fantastic beach in Isla Verde.

After a hard afternoon of tanning and jet skiing, the gang decided to stop by here because it was conveniently located right on the beach(yeah life is hard in Puerto Rico). We ordered a couple of pina coladas, margaritas, and beers for drinks. Drinks were good(definitely not shy with the alcohol), but on the pricier side since there is nowhere else to get your drink on really. For food, we ordered wings(wing dings on the saltier side, not bad though), chicken wrap, shrimp kabob, mozzarella & tomato salad, and a lamb gyro. Everyone said the food was good, I had the lamb gyro(fitting because it is a Mediterranean place). It was decent, especially with the $ 2 jalapeño yogurt sauce on it. Bill for all that was, I believe around $ 150 or more(a little pricey, but it’s vacation!). Service was friendly as usual and it was great to get a tan while eating.

This place is directly on the beach which is nice. Food is okay, I liked being able to order beer and take it so quickly to my chair in the sand.

This review is just for their drinks service. Prices are pretty high because you’re on the beach but that’s expected. This restaurant serves to patrons who come lay out on the public beach, so we had a waitress walk up to us while lounging on the beach. We had a delicious monstrous tropical drink that I can’t remember the name, but it had rum, passionfruit juice, pineapple juice and some other juices. It was $ 20 with tax and tip and was supposedly 3 drinks’ worth, so it was worth it to split between my fiancé and I. If we had gotten 2 drinks we would’ve paid nearly the same anyway. Just a warning though once you’ve paid your waitress(where 18% gratuity is included) she pretty much washes her hands clean of you after that. We asked for an extra straw and napkins after we paid and she conveniently forgot and never came back to us again. So zero stars for service!

Let’s be honest, you go here for the view and the ambiance. It’s the only restaurant actually on the beach, and the prices reflect that. That being said, the drinks are actually fantastic. The mojito is a perfect blend of mint and sweet. But at just under $ 10 a drink, it’s not exactly«economical» to have more than one. Food-wise, I’d avoid the calamari. It’s not bad, but the breading tastes like it was meant for mozzarella sticks, an opinion reinforced by the cold marinara sauce served alongside. The mini burgers are solid, but for $ 14 you may be better off grabbing a burger(or three) at the small grill just down the beach.

This outdoor café is part of the InterContinental San Juan Hotel & Resort and it’s patio right on the beach makes for a wonderful setting for a lunch. Staff are super friendly and the bar also offers a few tvs for watching the latest sports or news. The food is good but portions are small and the price is slightly higher being at a resort. The blended mojito on the other hand is to die for. Being located right on the beach does make it a little difficult to wait 30 minutes before swimming after dining.
