Hyatt Place San Juan/Bayamón

First time at the Hyatt Bayamon and everything was Amazing Marcia at the front desk was so sweet and helpful as well as the other staff the room was clean hotel was nice and the breakfast was great as well can’t wait to come back!

i will never in my life stay at the hyatt anything because of this place !
i never review anything because i think its tedious and people complain about little things. however, upon arrival they were trying to over charge me, i called my bank because i thought that it wasn’t going through because i was in a foreign location without letting my bank know so i got them on the phone and it wasn’t that it was because she waa charging me 300 more than what she was telling me. when i reserved the room the rate was supposed to be 89 a night when i got there they still charged me so much that it was literally like almost 200 dollars a night .
the location is so far and all the taxi cabs they call for you charge 50+
i was going to rent a car and literally she told me they had a shuttle when i was ready to go rent they said they had no shuttle and could call me a cab .
not to mention whenever i. called down to the front desk no one answered i had to walk down in a bath towel just to get some answer and they weren’t busy at all they were talking amongst themselves and flirting with drivers.
during my stay never once was my room cleaned were we brought fresh towels there was a soccer team of kids on our floor literally kicking balls at the wall at four am and i went down and complained and they didn’t even call up to tell them to be quiet better yet go up themselves i guess they were too busy.
complimentary breakfast had multiple hairs in it .
and to top off my shitty stay at this roach motel they charged me twice for my stay and even when my bank said they charged me twice on the phone since «they couldn’t see it «it wasn’t their problem they threw me in loops for days the woman at the front desk said that they dont transfer over to finance and only the gm has access to transfer lines before 6 .
do not stay here this is the worst hotel with the worst staff in life they have the mental capacity of a goldfish.
i’m beyond disappointed at such a reputable hotel.
i will be getting my lawyer involved and i will never mark my words never stay here again.

Everything is excellent the staff, service and the room I will be coming back here! There is good resturants around with more on its way they also have a casino right next door to the hotel. The shopping malls in the back has multiple stores including a Walmart. It’s also away from All day traffic like in San Juan. Just have to see for yourself you will like it.

Not a tourist friendly site because its far from everything important. Rooms are very nice and comfortable. Parking is a disaster you have to compete with old people from the Casino for a spot. They should have a private parking for hotel guests.

Great hotel! We really enjoyed our stay. The staff is incredibly helpful. We had a lot of questions and they were very courteous and knowledgeable. Not an ideal location but still close enough to take a taxi around,

Super friendly staff, clean and secure hotel. Close to airport and food it is on a main road so everything is accessible to you, including food and a shopping mall.
The thing with Hyatt is that you pay a little bit more, but you get a consistent, realible experience.

They didn’t get the internet fixed for more than two days. I wound up having to check out and find another place to stay because I just couldn’t get any work done here. Really disappointing.

I stayed at the Hyatt this past March as a celebration for my 25^th birthday. It was a really beautiful space and the staff was extremely helpful. I wasn’t able to rent a car like I planned, but the staff helped me and my girlfriend get around the island with great transportation directions and suggestions on things to do.
And to top it all off the offered us free and very tasty breakfast. I would definitely stay again!

Definitely one of the nicest HPs I’ve stayed in (I like this hotel brand, and I’ve stayed in quite a few). Service (as with everywhere on the island) is very friendly, the property is new and clean, the rooms are large, breakfast is good (not crazy about the 9a ending time on weekdays, though), and parking is easy (but $ 10, unfortunately).
If you have to be in Bayamon, this hotel is a no-​brainer. If you’re in SJ as a general tourist, however, you have to make the trade-​off between staying nearer the old city for convenience, or staying here for price/​comfort and commuting in (between 15 and 30 minutes to the old city, depending on traffic). I chose the HP because I had points there, but otherwise I’d probably stay more central if the price difference were less than, say, $ 50, since driving in PR can be a little stressful (mainly because GPS directions are sometimes hard to follow).
