This hotel had a lot of potential but was just okay.

Nice value for price. Found room to be clean, a good size and had a fridge. Note all rooms don’t have one so ask. Good location to use as a jump off point to local attractions. It is not a destination spot in itself except for the casino which gets filled up at night. So if you coming in late parking can get tight.

Not a vacation spot. I’m only here because I have to be. Not by choice. I stayed in the 2nd building. Not the lobby/check in location building. I assume the rooms that someone Unilocaled about as being small are in the main building bc both of my rooms were average size. Breakfast buffet is typical of hotel buffet. The Steak & Eggs off the menu was yummy. Didn’t visit the casino but it’s here. I wouldn’t plan a trip here… ever. :)

And I am being generous giving it 1 star, maintenance is atrocious, showers are filthy see pics, rooms are tiny, Internet is $ 10 per device! As is about 20 years old and noisy, not enough plugs for electronics, 3 only available! No microwave, and the hallway smells like Raid roach killer spray. Swimming pool looked great, but when my son approached it, there was scum leafs and unknown particles on the surface, so we turned around and left. AVOIDTHISHOTELITSHORRIBLE!

The breakfast was very good, especially the coffee and the fruit. I have been to many Courtyards and this was much better since I was served by a waitress and all the food was freshly made. I was glad to see that I could go until 11:00, so I had time to take advantage of the fitness center in the morning. Some of the machines and tvs were defect but I still enjoyed a solid workout. The carpet in my room was damp, which I didn’t enjoy too much. Overall though, the room was nicely cleaned and kept. It was similar in size and style to most Courtyards, and I wouldn’t call it anything special. The service was friendly and most employees spoke English, which was helpful. The pool area included two pools and many chairs and tables to sit at. It was busy with families and children for most the day but I still found it very inviting. The hotel was pretty central to many locations including Agudilla, the beach, many restaurants and stores such as Walgreens. But the immediate surroundings weren’t as pleasant and a little run-down. For the price, it was great place to stay and I was positively surprised by the service and breakfast.

The accomodation is smaller than what you would expect for a regular courtyard by Marriott room. Be ware of getting stuck with rooms right behind elevator — very noisy and not sure if it should even be a hotel room as there is no way anyone can sleep when the bed is right against the elevator shaft. The greed has blinded the hotel management’s sense of customer service and providing an environment that travellers can rest and recharge. Shameful.

Courtyard by Marriott in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico We stayed at the Courtyard from the 12th to the 15th of February 2015. The hotel is located behind the Aguadilla Airport in an industrial setting. The staff was great and polite, very professional. Our room was huge(we had the last room on the 2nd floor — meaning we didn’t have room next to ours). The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was small in comparison with the size of the room. Pros: near airport if flying into Aguadilla; rooms were comfortable, staff super awesome, kids pool, casino inside hotel! Negatives: lots of abandoned buildings in the area; lacks more free parking spaces; food expensive; pool area super loud; loud music until 11pm; you hear everything happening in the pool area; bathroom vent not working. There are no off the beaten path places to eat; lack of signage. Overall: it was ok! Would I stay here? Yes! Worth the money!

Room is awesome and Carlos is fabulous, helpful and accommodating as well as his lady colleague — giving us a great room! Be mindful of the area and park in the lot to the right of the hotel to avoid having to pay the $ 8/day fee. Minutes from the BQN airport, it’s easy enough to get a bit more sleep when taking early flights.

Initially very pleased with how clean the room is. Even the hallway smells amazing. Bed is comfy. Check in was easy although getting to my room in the back building was a hassle. Staff wasn’t helpful at all. Pool looked decent, more«family» oriented for kids than relaxing. There’s a few things to do including a coffee place, restaurant, casino, etc. the breakfast I had at the restaurant was disappointing and overpriced. $ 13 for burnt eggs, 3 tiny slices of bacon and potatoes? And then I realized I was charged for parking, which is stupid. Aguadilla was a great place to visit(ESP crash boat beach). Won’t stay at this place again tho. Not worth the money at all.

Ok, I only write five star reviews because for Lent last year I’d resolved to give up bitterness, and the exercise has sort of taken on a life of its own… a small mission to Sing the Unsung. And I love to do it. But let’s face it, life is not a constant stream of five-star experiences. And my stay here did not start off as one. Not a disaster. Just some glitches. Including at dinner. But in life, one thing I’ve learned is that problems and difficulty can often be the very best catalyst to goodness and real humanity… a bad thing can actually be what triggers some people to shine. And here, the relatively minor issue I had with dinner(a total first world problem btw) afforded just such an occasion. It allowed me to meet the chef, Wilson. What a guy. Gracious and sincere, he stepped in and made things so right that I just have to say«Dear Marriott Corp, please give him a raise.» And it wasn’t a solo performance… just as Sinatra also had a band that helped him create his music, Wilson also had support in creating this guest experience. Jorge the waiter and Carlos the manager allowed for the sweet hotelier harmony. Thanks, gents. By the way, in addition to being a wonderful diplomat and smart chef, Wilson also makes a rad flan.

Terrible, terrible place.. this hotel was Ramey Base Hospital before they turned it into a Courtyard Marriott. First the area as you drive in looks depressing. Room layouts are awkward, room looks like a hospital room,(eerie) and they are very uncomfortable, they do not have a refrigerator, front office said that only 4 rooms in the hotel had refrigerators, no chair in room to sit, no area to place your things, the night tables were tiny, the dresser where the tv was on had no space to place anything, the door to the bathroom opens toward the toilet, the towels are hanging on wall behind the door, what were they thinking? Room door was right on the outside hallway, there is no hall inside the room thus as people are loud in the hall you can hear the noise right in the room. Bed was comfortable, staff was nice, casino was clean, I picked this hotel because of the no smoking policy, but will never stay here again. The food at RB Restaurant was very good at a reasonable price. We booked additional nights but immediately cancelled after we checked in, we left early the following morning and never looked back. Beware, room 303 there are at least eight air conditioners running below, you will not be able to sleep. We looked at 3 rooms before we settled in the one I described above. Good riddance.

Casino — small, but has blackjack, roulette, and slots Bar — Terrible bar staff. God forbid there’s more than 20 people in the whole casino or the staff will start fighting amongst each other and complain to annoyed customers about how«busy» it is. I guess this is what happens when you hire lazy ass wanna-be bar tenders. What a joke… Restaurant — decent food, very cheap! You can get two entrees for $ 20.

This is not a good pick, unless you have 12 hours left in Puerto Rico and you are leaving. Otherwise Stay Away!!!
