If you are looking for a nice place to lunch in the Belem area, you can go to «Carvoeiro»!
We arrived here –so hungry– around 1PM. The terrasse is nice even if the place looks like a «tourist area»! I took the grilled octopus for 11 €. Really tasty even if I had a lot of oil in my plate…
We are not far away from the sea here (you smell it!)… so fish meals are highly recommended! The service is okay and friendly. We ordered delicious champaign sangria in a jug for the crazy price of 12 €/​1L! Really cheap and super refreshing! Don’t hesitate for a sec’!
Be prudent, they bring you bread, olives, cheese and nice other regional products but if you touch (read «eat») them, you have to pay (around 5 or 6 €)! That’s the case in most of the restaurants in Lisbon!

Tenho quase a certeza que este foi o primeiro restaurante desta rua. Mas isso também não interessa nada. O que realmente importa é como se enche a barriga. Ora bem! De estilo rústico, um pouco escuro e intimista — bom para jantares a dois — tem um serviço afável e comida óptima. Não se quer mais nada de um restaurante, não é assim? Ah, pois, o preço. Sim, o preço é um bocadinho alto mas vou dizer-​vos um segredo: o arroz de tomate com filetes de polvo vale bem o que se paga no fim. E ainda traz vinho, pão, sobremesa e café. Este é o meu prato de inverno porque, no verão, prefiro comer um bom peixe grelhado, na esplanada.
