Artis, la experiencia de esperar mas de una hora por un pollo al modo lisboeta. Clara ineficiencia en la organización que hace que la rotación en las mesas sea extremadamente lenta. Además en nuestro caso no supieron gestionar las expectativas del cliente, diciendo que quedaban 5 minutos para el plato cuando al final tardaron media hora más. La comida esta rica y es barata, pero a mi me dio la sensación de que me estaban tomando el pelo.

Restaurancito ubicado en el centro neurálgico de la movida lisboeta, Bairro Alto, llena de restaurantes, espectáculos de fado con cena y bares.
La comida es muy rica, sabrosa, las porciones generosas y los Precios estupendos Pero el servicio es un desastre (esperar más de una hora por un plato de bacalao), el local no es amplio y Al no poder reservar se Forma una forma interminable en la entrada. Desespera

Amazing little place for tapas and sangria. Not one of the touristy spots that you normally find in Lisbon, this place is mostly locals. The octopus was amazing, as was the pica pão! Just make sure you have bread! Best part was that the prices are reasonable for great food… And they’re open LATE!

My boyfriend and I had a pretty terrible experience here, mainly because of the service. Came in on a Friday night, and waited about 15 – 20 minutes for a table as a line formed behind us. That was expected – it’s a small place, and they were full. Only, no one greeted us, or even matched our eyes. They had cleared out 3 tables in the meantime. I finally approached one of the waiters, who said that they could seat us «in a minute.» About 5 minutes later, we were seated.
The waiter took our order shortly after that: we wanted to split a bottle of wine, cabbage soup, charcuterie, Portuguese steak & fries, and grilled sardines. The waiter asked «do you want bread, too?» I assumed that would have come with the charcuterie, but of course – yes, please! The first course arrived fairly swiftly: the wine, soup, and charcuterie board. No bread, though. I assumed our waiter would be returning with a basket, but nope. As with our arrival, it became impossible to make eye contact with any of the servers (many of whom were serving bread to other tables). In fact, it seemed like our server had disappeared, and now there were only two for the entire restaurant. The charcuterie was mediocre. The soup was good, but nothing too special.
We waited for another 30 minutes after finishing our first course before we figured they had forgotten about us. I flagged down another server (which took another 10 minutes). «Is our food still coming?» I asked not-​our server. «Yes,» he said blankly. 5 minutes later, he returns with the steak, and then the sardines 5 minutes after that. Still no bread, so I said to him, «We ordered bread.» «Bread?» «Yes…» He walks away. Guess what? We never got the bread.
The steak was pretty terrible — thin and chewy, fried egg unceremoniously thrown on top. The fries were good. The sardines were sardines… not seasoned or presented especially nicely. We couldn’t wait to leave after finishing our meal. We walk up to the register, and a few minutes later, we are greeted by… our server! Way to come back at the very end, buddy.
He charged us for the bread :(
These were the worst tapas we had in Lisbon. I’d even say we’ve had better in the U.S. Only come here if you’re a sucker for waiters walking around with flaming sausages, like it’s a damn TGI Fridays.

Nice spot to grab a glass of wine. Didn’t try any food, but server was very knowledgeable of their wine selection. Enjoyed our stop there.

Cozy wine bar with delicious tapas. We had the octopus, flaming Portuguese sausage and as other Unilocalers had suggested the potato bravas. Excellent suggestion and everything was perfect. Wines by the glass were great too.

En flânant dans les rues du Bairo Alto, Unilocal au téléphone, nous voilà arrivés devant ce petit resto qui né paye vraiment pas de mine mais où il y a la queue! Et ça en général c’est bon signe !
Donc nous voilà dans la file d’attente, qui a été rapide finalement… Et ça vaut le coup d’attendre!
C’est en fait un petit bijou typique portugais et vraiment pas cher, avec un service au taquet et des habitués qui remplissent les tables !
Alors foncez !!

Plein de bonnes choses ici, de la carte des plats à la carte des vins en passant par les sangrias, d’ailleurs il fait essayer la sangria blanche.
Les plats sont abordables et goûteux. Le bar est petit et vite bondé. Le service est sympa et efficace, bref tout ce qu’on aime.
!! Attention ils né prennent ni la visa ni l’amex !!

Our last night in Lisbon my friend I were looking for a late night spot that wasn’t overbearing in the Barrio (which was way harder to find) but stumbled upon this wine bar and couldn’t be happier. We were happily greeted and the wait staff was incredibly informative and thorough with any questions we had about the wine list and menu. We loved the Bacalahau, octopus and grilled shrimp– everything was delicious and would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone. Thank you!

O Artis é onde sempre vou, quando já é tarde e tenho desejo de batatas bravas. Sim, eu sou obcecada por estas batatas bravas, são simplesmente maravilhosas e vêm com molho picante.
Mas este restaurante/​bar tem muito mais que batatas bravas, tem um serviço excelente! Os empregados são muito, muito simpáticos e mesmo o espaço estando cheio e muitas vezes não havendo mesas, fazem-​nos sempre sentir que somos muito bem vindos e importantes para eles.
Além disso, o ambiente é fabuloso, típico do bairro alto!

Não aceitam reservas e não precisam de o fazer. De cada vez que lá vou, o Artis, no Bairro Alto, está sempre cheio. É preciso chegar-​se cedo, um pouco antes das 20h00 para o jantar (não servem almoços). É normal encontrar o espaço com um aglomerado de pessoas à porta. Lá dentro, o serviço não é exatamente célere. É o resultado da abundante afluência dos comensais: o wine bar/​restaurante tem a fama e o proveito. A carta de vinhos a copo é bastante convidativa; opto sempre pelo valor mais baixo, que ronda os ¾ euros. A acompanhar os néctares, há petiscos bem tradicionais da gastronomia portuguesa; elejo, por norma, o polvo e a tábuas com queijo e tostas, mas também as batatas bravas (de origem espanhola), cujo molho tem um sabor um tanto ou quanto picante. A decoração roda em torno do vinho — uma das paredes é revestida por placas de madeira referentes a marcas vínicas, a outra tem inúmeros espelhos de diferentes feitios. À entrada, um autocolante ao qual já me habituei a ver — uma recomendação da Time Out. E minha também.

O Artis é uma espécie de casa de vinho com serviço de restaurante, a sua decoração é muito simples, o espaço é pequeno o que o torna bastante confortável, as mesas muito próximas uma das outras, podemos comer sentados ao lado de outras pessoas que não conhecemos, o que torna o espaço muito confortável, a luz é baixa e logo que entramos descemos uns degraus que nos vai dar acesso á sala. A ementa têm frango, bacalhau, os petiscos como o chouriço e muito mais… Mas sem dúvida que a minha perdição no Artis são as batatas bravas que eles têm com um molho divinal e picante. Tantas vezes que passo por lá só para encomendar uma dose de batatas e levar para casa. Existem espaços que marcam pela diferença da decoração, da música, mas o Artis têm isso e as melhores batatas. E depois como boa casa de vinho que é, podemos dar uma olhadela á carta de vinho, beber uma garrafa ou apenas um copo de vinho. O espaço é muito bem frequentado. E tem preços acessíveis. Já fui jantar, beber apenas um copo e petiscar algo… Sem dúvida é o sítio ideal para dias de chuva, jantares a dois ou um copo entre amigos num sítio mais calmo.
