We had the fish and chips and they were delicious. The chips were piping hot and crisp and so was the fish. We had a glass of wine to go with it that paired nicely. We ended the lunch with a nice sticky date pudding. We loved the view and atmosphere from the balcony.

The good old Bridgey! Warkworth’s party zone… well, the most frequented bar in the area at least. It’s a big place, with the restaurant and large bar at the front. You can then walk through to the back(passed the pokies) where there’s a second bar and pool tables. The best part; there’s also a large lawn that backs over to the river. They have a well stocked bar including my favourite; Feijoa wine(it’s painfully hard to get your hands on outside of WW). If you’re there for dinner the menu is large and reasonably priced. I have always had delicious meals here; the lamb is gooood. If you get in early enough, or book, grab a seat outside on the deck overlooking the river. They often have live bands or a DJ playing on the weekend when the D-floor really gets going. The best nights of the year are Christmas Eve and Kowhai festival, when it’s rammed.
