The Pyjama Co.

You know that bit in the movie ‘Enemy of the State’ where Will Smith is in a lingerie store fumbling with a shop assistant over getting something for his wife? She asks what size and he sort of motions with his hands to indicate ‘this big’, she sighs, and he soon ends up wishing he just bought her a watch or something… Yeah, that’s me in a lingerie store! Anyway, sometimes I walk past the Pyjama Co and see something racy in the window and imagine the missus wearing it… I sort of stop thinking for a while before remembering I don’t know what I’m doing there and walk away. As far as I can tell though the stuff here is pretty sexay so that alone has gotta be worth a good 4 stars!

For a big busted gal like me, bra shopping can be a bloody nightmare. It’s shops like this that make me sad to be gifted with a sizey rack! The shelves in here are stocked with the most beautiful bras ever. They’re all lacy and detailed and coloured and patterned and STUNNING. But they are all also made for mini boobies.
Today when I sifted through the options the only bras I could find in big sizes were not nearly as gorgeous as the littler ones. This is the case anywhere though I guess.
I was very impressed with the variety of underwear. Particularly a hideous seamless skin coloured g string — an essential I will soon be needing that isn’t actually that easy to come by.
The «naughty» outfits were also very nice. The ones I saw were actually sexy, not slutty. I stood there thinking «will my nungs fit in that… probably not». Oh well one day when I’m feeling brave I may just try and squeeze myself into one of these little numbers. I’m sure my boyfriend will be stoked — even if I am busting out.
The two ladies working today were very cheerful and chatty but not nosy and pushy — just the way I like it.

The Pyjama Co. is a place I’d go to if I had a lot of money to spend or I was after a particular piece– its not particularly cost-​effective for students like myself. It’s a beautiful store though with a lot to look through. There are some excellent bras here with some of the best detailing I’ve seen, and they also do some great costumes that are done pretty tastefully for what they are! This is the best part about the store– they do such a range of naughty and nice/​business and pleasure, that its a great one stop-​shop for all these things. It definitely makes buying things a bit more comfortable and a whole lot easier.
I enjoy looking through most of their items, but its usually for anything Pleasure State and all of their robes and pyjama sets– definitely just a few of the things I’d splurge on! It’s a great store if you’re looking to impress your girlfriend with something fun and tasteful, and the staff here are always around with great suggestions. For ladies, its a great place to head with your friends for a second opinion– you might need if you’re going to drop a couple hundreds on one item.

Whether it’s your first time or your fifteenth time in a lingerie store, as a man, you can get some very awkward looks from customers and staff members. Of course, if you are skulking around an underwear store fifteen times a day, these are probably well deserved.
The Pyjama Co. is a well stocked shop at the top of Vulcan Lane with very relaxed staff if you’re the skittish kind. The staff member there whispered assistance to me and, with a cheeky smile, pointed to the Leg Avenue range of lingerie. A friendly store with well stocked shelves and a sense of humour.
