The reason I play Chamberlain Park so often is purely because of the price, and the fact that it makes my golf look good. I like an easy course.
What I also like about my golf at Chamberlain Park, is the halfway house, or as it is better known, Nineteen Café. It wasn’t much before the alterations, but it is now a great spot to pick up a pie and a coke after a tough nine holes, and then again after eighteen.
The cool thing is that they are not over priced; a common trait at other courses. The menu is still typical golf course fare, but it is yummy, and perfect to restore the batteries.

Apart from being extremely convenient for hungry golfers before, during and after playing their rounds, this café is actually really good. Well it’s really good for their pies at least, as this is the only thing that I get from here. And that is the only thing that I need to get from here; why change a good thing? You might think that pies aren’t especially the best thing to eat for a round of golf, but you tend not to give a shit about nutritional value when they taste so good. A friend of mine loves these Chamberlain café pies so much that he often goes out of his way just to come here before work to grab one (or two).
