This is a café and bistro that you really need to try out, amazing flavour and authentic style of the true Thai dishes that we all love and trust.
I stumbled across this lovely café only because I used to work in the area, and one lunch time popped in for a meal with my partner.
Although the location is not the best, the food and service makes up for it I believe.
Joy’s is a family owned and run café, and you do come here for the amazing Thai food, my favourites are the red or green curry with seafood, and the Pad Thai which is perfection.
If you blinked driving up to the intersection just around the corner you would really just miss this gem, so I am glad that I got to experience some tasty Thai food in the Pt Chevalier/​Mt Albert zone.
A nicely decorated comfy interior with lots of booths and tables, or if it’s a sunny day, do like I did and enjoy the outdoor seating.
