A pretty standard café, Mozaik is bright, open and modernly appointed. There is a good selection of cabinet foods as well as a full menu for a more hearty breakfast or lunch. One of the great assets of this Mozaik is the inner atrium seating at the back. Not many people sit there and it is a great place to have a lunch meeting as it is quiet and you have a bit of privacy. I often use it for business lunches for this very reason. The coffee is OK, but not great. Hopefully they will change their selection of beans to something more full-flavoured(Allpress, Altezano, etc…). If they did, they’d get more of my business for sure!

I only used to come here because it was in the building where I was working, it was okay. The guy who would serve my work colleague and I was always very friendly.(though I suspect it was because the person I came with was a very good customer). The seating is comfortable and overall this Moziak is warm and inviting. On a nice day you can sit by the larger windows that open right out onto Parnell Road. Moziak have a good menu with a lot of variety and they had a good range of cabinet food, salads and cakes especially. If you’re after a bit more than the usual café fare, give this place a go.

We stopped in here today for a quick coffee. We asked for a couple of flat whites and were a little mystified when about five minutes later they came in takeaway cups. Not only that, there was a holder for the two coffees along with stirrers and satchets of sugar. It wasn’t a big deal as such but all they had ask was; ‘Here or takeaway?’ The coffee was good but perhaps not great — perhaps it was the fact that we were drinking out of a crappy takeaway cup. In fairness, the staff were friendly and brought us over two glasses of water. Can’t comment on the food but some of it in the cabinet looked like it had been sitting there for a while. Got a glimpse of the food on one of the tables and it looked quite appetizing. I like these Mozaiks, the décor is bright and funky and it’s a pleasant place to visit. Perhaps a bit more attention to detail would serve them well if they want to compete with some of the good cafes in Parnell.

I would normally avoid the Parnell eating scene due to the expensive cost involved but today we had an entertainment voucher for 25% off our total bill from the Entertainment book and wanted to try somewhere different. I think I have to go back now about thirty odd times so as to try every item on the menu. I was actually in shock at how fresh the menu was, and at regular prices — about $ 16 for a breakfast meal. My partner had the big breakfast, which was not anything really out of the ordinary, when it comes to big breakfasts, one can generally know exactly what to expect. I however, enjoyed a really yummy ‘home made hash brown’ which came served with bacon(or smoked salmon at customers choice), poached eggs and hollandaise. Truly delicious! Get to this café stat! The staff were also lovely.

This is a lovely and friendly café in a handy Parnell location. They have a good range of cakes and savouries, and the coffee is great. You can also order off the varied menu if coming for breakfast or lunch, such as Eggs Benedict for breakfast or for lunch they dishes like Cajun Chicken Open Sandwich, and many others. They also have a kids menu available and baby high chair. The interior is very tasteful and its a nice relaxing atmosphere. The staff are also very friendly and don’t mind noisy toddlers. I have come here 3 or 4 times now and have always received the same friendly service. Plus they are open extra early from 7am for your early morning coffee fix. If you are in the area then go and try it out.
