Mission Heights Reserve

There’s one crowning glory that sets Mission Heights Reserve out from the rest of suburbias many green patches: an epically long flying fox/​monorail. I used to look after kids in this area, and their favourite thing to do was visit this spot and play on the flying fox for ages. There’s also a tyre swing, a slide and multiple other contraptions that resemble octopuses.
It’s a kids playground heaven! However, it is next to some water, so you want to watch them like a hawk. Inevitably, the stream looks far too inviting for some of the more adventurous types.
If you have no kids, but enjoy playgrounds, there’s nothing stopping you from enjoying this well-​made jungle gym yourself.
