Awesome little Korean spot. Hard to find good quality Korean but this place is recommended and popular with local Koreans too. Great option for lunch.

If ever I feel like winter is getting me down I head to Kabo Rae for a steaming hot bowl of their pork bone soup. It’s pretty much the pork version of chicken soup for the soul… big chunks of tender pork in a flavoursome broth. To be honest, I can’t really comment on the rest of the menu — a friend of mine told me about their pork bone soup and since I tried it I can’t bring myself to order anything else… boring, I know!

Very nice little korean place. The food was good. Although the shop itself is a bit small, it was still a nice environment. Would definitely come again

A decent Korean restaurant in new market! My all time fav is the tofu soup and it comes with rice and 5 other side dishes! My bf loves their pork bone soup! Both a must try! I prefer this restaurant as it is closer to home and also lots of parking options unlike other ones in the Auckland City. You can also continue to refill those side dishes too! Yummmm! I must say I m a regular and usually crave for Korean once every fortnight! Nom nom nom. Kimchi, garlic and spiciness? Go n try!
