De Boomerang

Das Essen war ok, aber leider bis auf die exotischen Fleischsorten, die es beim Australier so gibt, leider auch nichts besonderes.
Hier rächt sich die offene Küche, aus der das Ping der Mikrowelle deutlich zu vernehmen war, wenn mal wieder eine kleine Portion Kartoffelgratin oder Spinat zubereitet wurde.
Wir hatten Strauß mit Bacon in Honig-​Thymian-​Sauce (die höchstwahrscheinlich Convenience-​Ware war) und ein Veggiewrap. Das Fleisch war super zubereitet und auch das Zusammenspiel Strauß/​Bacon/​Sauce war prima. Die Beilagen kamen aber aus der Mikrowelle (vom Vortag?) und die typischen Frites waren normaler NL-​Standard.
Auch das Veggiewrap war nicht wirklich schlecht, aber halt nur mit ‘ner Standardsalatmischung aus der Tüte gefüllt. Das wäre für ‘né Imbißbude ok, ist für 12,95 aber zu wenig.

I gave this place one star because I had to. My boyfriend (now husband) and I went there on a trip to the Netherlands. Bad idea. The food was so gross, an oily mess. I didnt eat any of it and I asked nicely if it could be taken off my bill. They said no and I had to pay 18.00 for something I never touched. They were rude about it also. We paid our bill (no tip) and wrote on the bill «This is unacceptable» referring to the fact we had to pay for something that was gross and that I never ate. We walked out. My boyfriend forgot his jacket and I walked back into the restaurant. As soon as I walked in I was bombarded with them yelling at me about not liking the food. The husband and wife (owners, not sure?) blocked me so I couldnt get the jacket. I asked them if I paid for my food and they responded «yes». Called me a stupid American and something else I couldnt make out. If I wasnt so in shock I would have called the police. They are rude, horrible people and the food is no better. I would NEVER go back here unless it was under new mgmt. THEY DO NOT LIKE AMERICANS. Beware.
