Julia’s…Italian food. Italian quick food. Does it get any better? Oh yeah, because you can customize your box o’ food. Seriously, can the U.S. figure out how to do quick food like Amsterdam? Ok. So I believe Julia’s is only in train stations, and although this makes me a little sad, I love that you can get good, hot food to go. Today there was only one woman working which doesn’t really work out well, but she did her best even though it took a while. I feel like I usually see two people working and it goes very smoothly. Create your personal dish and watch it be made in front of you. Hopefully within 5 minutes you have a tasty and hardy meal to travel with! The menu is easy to figure out and there are many different combinations if you want to try something different during each visit. Buon appetito!

Great potential, squandered. It isn’t the cheapest fast food, but it’s alright for a quick walking lunch or late evening snack. I say that because the meal is best shared. I ordered a mozzarella, basil, pesto pasta dish thinking that’s quite an easy deal. How was I wronged. The pasta was boiled quickly, which meant that it was chewy and undercooked. Then, it was quickly mixed in with hot sauce and had a few balls of mozzarella thrown in along with basil. That was it. As expected, I didn’t like my food. It didn’t taste right, and although the sauce wasn’t bad, it just didn’t feel like it belonged there. The mozzarella-sauce-pasta combination just felt like a divorce waiting to happen in my mouth. Will not try again.
