Cafe Amadeus

Muy agradable y delicioso lugar, Beethoven al fondo de música, una buena cerveza artesanal alemana de trigo, sopa de col y las deliciosas salchichas, el postre la especialidad de la casa, el servicio adecuado, no obtiene 5 estrellas quizás por la larga espera para acceder al lugar, principalmente los fines de semana a la hora del almuerzo.

The cake in this place is not that bad. It is not the best there is, but eatable. The coffee is terrible. My wife got cappuccino which was good. My daughter ordered juice which they forgot to make until she cancels it when we were about to leave.
They were about 6 customers in the place and the service was terrible.
This was one of the few places that I don’t leave a tip .
To summarize, expensive place that doesn’t worth it.

I have always enjoyed a cup of indulgingly sweet hot chocolate with an Empanada de Crema Pastelera at Café Amadeus. The Jardines location is just as good as the Los Arcos one, and I am able to keep indulging my cravings on this side of town.
This is a great breakfast place in Jardines, although their dinner menu is just as good. There are good Mexican offerings for breakfast, as well as Dutch dishes if you would like to vary your meal towards that flavor profile; Dutch or Mexican, you can’t go wrong. The salsas are good, the bread is delicious, and the sauerkraut is excellent.
As it is with most of my meals, I find the sweets the most pleasurable. The pastries are among the best served in this beautiful city, and there are three or more types of hot chocolate you can order, all of them delicious. Here you are also able to order their Pastel de Vino, or red wine cake, which is probably in my top three of cakes that I have ever tried and loved. Have it by the slice or order the whole thing for takeaway, or you could also get a slice and take the rest of the cake to go, as I have been known to do in the past.
So come, sit, relax, indulge, and enjoy a meal that will leave you saying wunderbar!
