A group of six of us enjoyed a fabulous and romantic valentine’s meal at this restaurant last week! The service was as amazing as the meal. Everything was perfect — the table setting, the music, the servers were spot-on! For dinner we enjoyed the 4 course meals offered — I chose the duck confit, in a cranberry sauce, with pasta and a red sauce that was quite possibly the best red sauce I have every had the pleasure of consuming! The duck was perfectly cooked, the cranberry sauce was not over sweetened like Thanksgiving Cranberry sauce and the wine selections were made for us to optimize the pairing. If you are in Cabo, and you want an incredible Italian meal, this is your best bet! When I return to Cabo next, I will enjoy a huge plate of the pasta and red sauce! It was so good you will want to swim in it!

Great service, welcoming, entrees presented well and tasty. Caesar salad, veal shank, pasta entrees all prepared and presented nicely. Been coming to Cabo fifteen plus years and this restaurant is a value and one of the best Italian spots in town!

Three stars because Food is decent, ambiance is nice for Cabo, waiters are kind and attentive, I’d give zero stars for the fact that food service is INCREDIBLYSLOW. Slow as in from the time I sat down until my entrée arrived 2+ hours had passed. Sat down at 7:30, food arrived just before 10pm. Luckily they keep the garlic bread flowing or I would have left for a quicker fix elsewhere. Don’t come hungry, don’t come in a hurry.

We thoroughly enjoyed this delightful restaurant. The house pasta sauce is memorable with four cheese cream sauce mixed with Pomodoro. We loved the Bruchetta and Lasagna. The Marguerits Pita was a yummy pizza-like appetizer. Frederico was a wonderfully attentive waiter. We highly recommend this gem in Cabo San Lucas!

So glad our friend(a local) brought us here a few years ago. The food and service are consistently fabulous. I brought s group of friends for a birthday dinner tonight and they all raved. The chef greeted us upon arrival and departure. What a nice touch. I will be back for a early Christmas dinner next week.

Mediterranean. OURFAVORITE restaurant in Cabo! Order the John’s pasta. Not on the menu, but they will know what it is.(Pasta with perfectly cooked scallops in a really yummy sauce.) Hands Down, the Best Place in Cabo. Excellent pasta carbonara. They also have a great lunch special(12 – 4:30) a three-course meal with soup or salad, an entrée with pasta or vegetables, plus dessert and drink– all for only $ 10! Avenida 16 de Septiembre and Ignacio Zaragoza. Take a cab there(so you know where it is) and then you can walk back. Closed Sundays. Dinner 5 – 11. Alcaravea Mushrooms: balsamic and wine reduction. Good. But the Mushrooms Provenzal(mushrooms caps loaded with cheese, meat, etc) are phenomenal.. Too full for tiramisu, but want it next time.

Chef Enrique and his Alcaravea is simply among the best places in Cabo to eat. Chef Enrique is amazing and has some of the best food I have had anywhere on the planet. I will usually order one of his daily specials or ask for something special, I will give the chef details on what I am in the mood for and he will create something special for me. Service is great. Good ambiance. Prices are average but a good price for everything you get. Low cost lunch specials daily for less than $ 150 pesos which include everything, appetizer, main enter and dessert plus the drink of the day. Don’t forget to try John’s Pasta is you like fresh scallops. Not on the menu but you will love! The highest possible recommendations for Alcaravea.

Was very pleased with this place! It is off the beaten path but worth the short two block walk from the main drag. I took my wife there on a date expecting to spend more money then what we did, so I was pleased with that. The wait staff is on top of whatever you need and it was great to meet the Chef. Food was amazing I had the stuffed tenderloin high recommend it if that is your type of thing.

You have to come here. The food is amazing. If you have kids and are looking for food you could find in the U.S. This is the place. I worked in one of the best Italian restaurants in the Bay Area CA for years and this was right there with it. Just go you won’t regret it!

Wanting a change of pace and pasta for the evening we Unilocaled and consulted our concierge. This restaurant came highly recommended. There were four in our party. From the appetizers to the pasta, to the prosciutto wrapped shrimp, to the lasagna and the fish special of the day. It was all excellent with wonderful flavor and the owner came out to say hello and thank us for coming. Who does that anymore! We topped off the dinner with tiramisu and bananas flambé. The service overall was excellent you will not be disappointed.

This is a must go place for us every year in Cabo. We were originally taken there by locals four years ago and have gone every year since. The food is always excellent. I had salmon on my last visit, and it was perfectly cooked. Everyone in my family loves it. And where else can you go where the chef always makes a habit of coming out of the kitchen to say good bye? The only advice I have is that if the weather is warm, you ask to be seated in the air-conditioned part of the restaurant.

The moment we walked in we were greeted by the fantastic head chef. What a friendly genuine guy! We definitely felt like it was his genuine pleasure to cook for us. Service was top-notch from the entire staff beginning to end. I ordered off the menu(filet mignon topped with prosciutto-wrapped shrimp with a side of pasta) and it was astonishingly affordable. It would have cost at least $ 50 + in the USA but it was a fraction of that. And of course it was absolutely delicious. We inhaled all of our food! We wanted to revisit for lunch which is apparently a several course meal for under $ 15 but sadly did not have time time left in our vacation but Alcaravea will be a must visit every time we return to Cabo!

By far our favorite restaurant in Cabo and it happens to be Italian food! I’ve seen this s restaurant grow over the years, and they are doing an excellent job. The food is incredibly good and the presentation is equally impressive. We come to a Cabo every year and this my choice for birthday dinner, each time. It makes getting older that much more delicious. Reservations are recommended.
