This particular branch is not as pleasant as compared to the other branches. The food here isn’t as fresh as the one you get in DJ. I was here on a weekend morning and the place is similarly packed and I ordered almost the usual items I always do. The dim sum dishes are fine but I find the Golden Bun and their fried char kueh lack luster. The outlet here is much smaller therefore you’ll be subjected to a longer queue line. Recommended only if you want dim sum and are not willing to drive any further.

It was around three years back that I was living around this area and I remember how happy I was that Jin Xuan has finally opened an outlet right at the area that I’m living and I don’t have to travel any further for good dimsum. To be honest, as an Ipoh mali, from such a city that’s so well known for how good their dimsum is and that they have a whole street in Ipoh that’s filled with dimsum restaurant, I have high expectations towards dimsums. Surely, you can get some good dimsums at some very premium dimsum places in Kuala Lumpur, but that all comes with a price. The reason why I like Jin Xuan so much is that their food is good, and their price is really fair too. Another reason, I realized that Kota Damansara outlet actually opens until really late at night! Wow, that means that I’m dead — there’s this one more place now that I can go for supper! Do try their fried carrot cakes and also siew mai here, so good and their fried carrot cake is not too oily. So, if you are craving for something tasteful and need to get rid of the oil, do try it out. For one person, the average spending would be around RM20 or less here, unless you are a really big eater? Also, you can wrap up your dimsum feast with their yummy desserts here, which they offer a wide range of them too, cold or hot, you pick! You can sit here until 11:30 at night, and they won’t treat you any less friendly, wonder why I like it so much? This is why. Parking spaces are plenty right outside the restaurant, but do note that parking could be a bit difficult at peak hours as you know, Kota Damansara is a very popular area in Kuala Lumpur. Overall, a good service branch that maintains the foods quality — definitely coming back again!
