While food here was average in my opinion, I think they do have quite a good deal for their set lunch meals here. My friend and I first got attracted into this restaurant by their RM30nett lunch buffet — but of course for this deal the dish choices are limited. We opted for their set lunch instead which they serve different meals from Monday to Friday and price starts from RM20 onwards, including a drink, soup and dessert. I picked their rump steak on Friday, and for the whole set it only costed RM25 — I would say that this quite a steal provided that this restaurant is located in a shopping mall. Do not expect extraordinary quality for the steak, but I would say the tastes of the their dishes here are all quite decent, I especially liked the soup that was served. Wouldn’t mind coming back again to try other dishes on the menu.

Recently went to Samba with my bf for date night. Making reservations was easy and we were greeted cordially even when we were almost 20mins late(8pm). We choose to seat at the smoking section. Firstly, you’ll be impressed with the amount of side dishes they have to offer. The quality of the side dishes were pretty good. Special notes: the beans, the mushroom soup, the mash but we were there for the meat! well, the meat department fell short for us. firstly the choices of meat was very limited. only had 1 lamb dish, 1 prawn dish, 3 chicken dishes and 2 kinds of beef. for me the non beef eater, it was very limiting. the wait for the meats to come around were so slow and we had to practically remind the waiters many times to bring over the meat plus, they are not very alert on the customers they have and they tend to do their rounds in one standard order which means if you are the last table, you will get the leftovers always. What’s worst the beef ribs only which made its grand appearance once came in towards near 10pm. The chicken sausage is worth the mention. Side note: we had tried the Carnaval Churrascaria, in PJ before so we have something to compare too. Samba although so much pricier– almost double the price is lacking in meat variety, meat seasoning. In Samba, we needed to have sauces to go with the meat while in Carnaval, the meat was good enough we didnt even need any. In terms of ambience and the concept of brazilian bbq is a nice chill out place to have conversations with friends and allow food to gradually trickle in. In short, It was overall very disappointing as our expectation was very high considering the reviews and price. Our bill came up to RM439 for 2 pax(incl. a bottle of wine RM150).if we didnt have the comparison with Carnaval Churrascaria, in PJ, maybe this would be impressive but it was too pricey and unsatisfying for meat lovers. Unless you only plan on getting full on the sides only.

Samba serves Brazilian cuisine and recently opened at Avenue K. I was pretty tempted to try it when it first opened, when i finally did i was kinda let down. The steak i ordered was over cooked even though i said medium well. The service here i would say is not bad although the staff weren’t very friendly and didn’t do much when i told them that my steak wasn’t cooked they way wanted it cooked. The restaurant was actually empty when we dined there and yet we found it quite hard to get service. They have some weird items on their menu but i guess thats what brazilian cuisine is like and i would be interested to try brazilian cuisine, just not here.

My Brazilian friend recommended a bunch of us to try out this place and that it has awesome Brazilian cuisine! I took the most amazing plate ever! a beef steak with potato wedges. That steak was the best I’ve had in months for sure! the money was worth it, it was less than 40 rm. just amazing! Definitely recommend the place for a beautiful night out with a friend or someone special! I had an amazing time that’s for sure!

Aya caramba! I enjoyed my meat buffet here very much. Came here with a group of girlfriends and oh boy the way we ate was just unbelievable! And by that i meant we ate soo much! It was worth every cent we paid! Will definitely come back soon. Be sure that you are really hungry for you to enjoy the buffet. Otherwise the ala carte menu is good too.

This is another place filled with meat other than ayers grill. I went here once for my company celebration party, and the food they were serving was really great. I would applaud their grilled prawn because it was perfectly cooked, and balanced perfectly with lime and salt, amazing! Their meat was pretty good as well, I tried their ribs, it was very thender and perfectly cooked. I am not a big fan of steak or ribs so I don’t find this that satisfying but I’m pretty sure the meat lover can appreciate this more than I do. They also served chicken hearts, calamari rings, grilled dory fish, chicken wings, salads and more options for meat. I like the ambience of the place, especially their outdoor place is really gorgeous that you can see the night skyline of Kuala Lumpur. I think this place is really good for company parties, or any event for larger group of people, and yes will definitely recommend this place for those heavy eater.

If you are Brazilian or you love Brazilian food or you just wanna have a new experience, Samba is definitely an option. The place is also perfect for the meat lovers. You will be in heaven, because the food it’s amazing and you have a huge variety of meat dishes from beaf to chicken, pork, & seafood. They also have tropical dishes and I recommend you to go with a Brazilian person. The price is quite high and the service is good. This is a place everyone should try at least once.

This is the only Brazilian restaurant I’ve been to in KL, and I have to say it was nice to have a taste of home. Being Brazilian, I was happy to see that the food they have is genuine and very well made. If you love meat, this is going to be paradise for you! They have a buffet with salad, sushi and other Brazilian tipical dishes such as Feijoada(a black bean stew) and Escondidinho(grinded beef covered with mashed potatos). With the buffet option, you will get the ‘Churrascaria’ experience, which consists in many waiters bringing meat to your table and you get to choose what you want without having to stand up. The service is ok, but the price is quite high so make sure you are hungry before you choose the buffet! I recommend trying the Brigadeiro, a very tradicional Brazilian dessert!

Samba is a Brazilian churrascaria and is a great addition to Avenue K. The idea of a churrascaria is meat, meat and more meat. They have about a dozen different delicious varieties and if you go for the buffet you can try them all. This place, the buffet is really the way to go. They do have an all a cart menu but every time I’ve gone that direction I wish I had just gotten the buffet. For a little over RM100 you can really have it all. There are servers that walk around with different cuts of meat and you get a button that has a red side and a green side. Green means gimme some and red means I’m full! They buffet is also quite nice. It has pretty much everything. Sushi, rice, and traditional Brazilian dishes. Try the brigederos for desert. They are awesome.
