Bangsar Shopping Center

If there’s one thing that I really like about this shopping center, it’d be its exclusivity. Bangsar is for sure known for the crowd that the hood always attract, so if you are at Jalan Telawi or somewhere nearby, it’s usually a challenge to get a parking. Whereas in BSC, parking isn’t really an issue, as you’d just need to get in to their parking area, or you could get the valet parking.
Another thing that I really like about BSC would be Jason’s food hall. Friends who know me would know that I’m someone who likes doing groceries shopping — trust me, it’s therapeutic in its very own way. You would be able to get things and imported goods that you wouldn’t easily see elsewhere. More than that, you can find the cheese room here — pretty exotic ain’t it?
There are a lot of pretty good restaurants in this shopping center itself as well, with a fair spread of other kinds of shops that you would be able to get pretty much all things that you would be looking for. Be it the decorative items, books, clothes, etc. Janine and Gudang would also be two stores that I like visiting while I’m here, they have a great variety of home decorative items and it’s often updated too.
One thing though, parking rates here are definitely not cheap, but it still make sense as this shopping center itself is a rather premium one — just so that you don’t get a surprise when you’re leaving the mall.

I used to go there quite a bit before the big makeover, when Actor’s Studio was still there.
These days, not so much. Between the parking rate and the sucky parking situation there in general, I really don’t have much incentive to go there much these days… perhaps the Seek and Keep bazaar, Morelli’s and Jason’s Food Hall, that’s about it. It’s basically an pricey neighbourhood mall for the expats.

I come here quite a bit. Sometimes with the family to just wander around (especially when they have bazaars), sometimes to have meetings with people and sometimes to catch up with the girls over coffee. This place is pretty flexible that way and I think that’s what makes BSC special.
I frequent Chilli’s, Mothercare and Just Heavenly (hello sweet tooth!) a lot, though I’m less inclined to visit the grocery store there and that whole gourmet area on the ground floor which I find to be a bit of a rip-​off.
Other than that, I like this place for the relaxed ambiance. Upmarket without the hoity toity feel!

Bangsar Shopping Centre is one of my favourite shopping for food, drinks, groceries and more! Although it can be a tad more expensive than other malls but it just exudes class, comfort and elegance.
They have nice restaurants like Tarbush, Chilis, La bodega, Busaba and so on. They also have a spa, boutique gym and other clothing stores. I also really love the accessories from Shoes shoes shoes (yes it is a store).
The only down side is parking! Limited space and overpriced yet people keep overcrowding. Probably one of the only malls that the valet can refuse people for not enough space.

Bangsar shopping center is definitely my favorite go-​to on the weekend. This upscale shopping mall houses some pretty fine eateries, retail lots & a superb grocer. This place is flocked with not only our locals but foreigners as well. You can indulge in a variety of cuisines here; italian, thai, american, indian & japanese just to name a few.
Also if you need to do some banking, head on over to the drop off area where you would see a rhb & al-​rajhi bank which provides some real good service as oppose to their other branches. The parking here can be a bit difficult, so you can opt to jockey park or über your way there. Also if you are staying around the area & you’ve done alot of grocery shopping, don’t fret as Jasons does home delivery, just check in with their service assistants at the counter.

Compared to other malls in the vicinity, BSC moves in a leisure pace. More of a neighbour mall, BSC houses a couple of good restaurants like WIP, Noble House, The Press Bistro etc.
There are some deigner labels and lifestyle stores as well as a high-​end food court. Many residents nearby do their groceries shopping at the gourmet supermarket, Jason’s Food Hall. Many like to label this place a ‘atas’ mall perhaps due to its up-​market crowd who are known for driving (and parking) their luxury cars outside the mall, which often causes traffic.

Really cool mall, it’s not the biggest mall in in KL but it’s definitely a cool mall where you can find a lot of stuff. There are so many stores with really cool brands I think there is a mixture of international and local brands but mostly its local brands actually. However, don’t let it fool you it’s still expensive.
I wouldn’t recommend it for grocery shopping or for casual clothes shopping I would definitely recommend it for something more than that.
This is definitely one of my favorite in terms of restaurants they have really cool restaurants like chilis who have really good food. They have Tarboosh which is a Middle Eastern restaurant with really really nice food. They also have my favourite Thai restaurant that I like, really beautiful architecture and also has beautiful food. the food isn’t expensive, so definitely recommended if you want to go there for food more than actually for shopping.

Bangsar shopping center is actually a really nice place that I don’t even know it’s there, and so near my home, until someone suggested we go and have dinner at Chili’s.
It’s a really nice place and has quite a few options in terms of restaurants. I love the fact that it has so much variety. It offers Thai food, Western food, Mexican food, absolutely everything that you’re looking for. It does cover a few of the high-​end stores and a lot of friends love to spot because it’s really popular to hang out during lunch and it offers something for everyone’s taste.
It it is open from 10 AM to 10 PM, and even though it doesn’t have a lot of fashion or clothing stores, you will find quite a few great options and even body shops, bodycare products, a grocery store, coffee shops and more.
Its definitely worth checking out if you are new in town or just want to have some really good food.

If you are looking for a shopping place, around Bangsar area, you can give a try to this Mall.
Here you will find everything you need from Groceries, Restaurants, Clothes, Coffee shops, Housing products and Body care. Everything you need under one roof. In regards of clothes you will find some stores, but not so many. The mall is specialised more in restaurants and bars.
The prices found here are from medium to expensive. This is one thing which I love about this place. They have everything for everyone.

This is a great mall if you are looking for groceries and good food.
No so much clothes and electronics, for example. BSC has an incredible amount of great restaurants and bars in the same place, which makes it both convenient and confusing.
Some worth highlighting are W.i.p, La bodega, and tarbush. Another highlight is Single and Available, a store specialized in single malt whisky. Aside from that, they have a great grocery shop that is quite reasonably priced.

Bangsar Shopping Centre is one of bangsar’s neighbourhood shopping mall and its pretty awesome!
One may find pretty much everything here from your eateries, groceries, chemists and many more.
The thing that excites me the most is their Seek n Keep Market that happens once in every four months.
I just love browsing through little markets as such as you find so many unique things its like going on a treasure hunt!
BSC’s opens at 10am to 10pm daily. They have a valet service which is great (i hate looking for parking, dont you?!) If you would like to park thats possible too and parking here isnt that bad!

It’s finally weekend and you are ready to do some shopping and buy something nice to yourself after a long week of hard work. Finally!
And here you are on a Saturday morning with a brilliant mood. You start your day with a delicious cup of coffee at Dome and thinking what you will buy today. All you want is something very simple like a nice top or a pair of shoes.
How are you supposed to react when you realise after 3 hours that in this massive mall you can not find anything?
This mall is not for clothes shopping. It’s great for restaurants or accessories, but you wont find any usual clothes brands.
Better go for Mid Valley, if you want to spoil yourself with clothes. :)
