In comparison to the location in Los Angeles, CA, I do prefer the honey series and spicy (hot pepper) here in KL because it was not overly battered. However, the original garlic was a bit bland and I would not order it again.
I recommend trying the honey series drum sticks if you’re looking for the most flavorful wing/​drum stick.
**You have to spend at least 50RM to use your visa/​MasterCard according to one of the waitresses. And, if you’re in a rush, keep in mind that it takes up to 10 – 20 min for your order to come out**

KyoChon is a Korean fried chicken place which is sort of like Korean version of KFC. Their food is consistent since it always taste the same on my various visits. I really like their honey glazed flavour.
Portion is however on the small side for the price you pay. Don’t expect to get your stomach filled up with their set. But I can overlook that since the taste is really good.

There is only one kind of food that has people clambering for more, fried chicken! And it might even be better than KFC minud the additives and bad stuff. Stemming from Korea, it’s supposedly the number 1 thing in Korea and this is one of the first such restaurant in Malaysia.
There is no BBQ here like most Korean restaurants, what ou get is fried chicken that is not greasy, contains no MSG and fresh, that’s what they claim and we can taste the difference for sure! We had the honey glazed fried chicken but they also have the original soy series and a red spicy one. You can choose which part of the poultry you would like to have, from the wings, drumstick, drumettes or a mix of all. We also tried the dakgalbi which is really grilled chicken with salad served with kimchi rice and a cute sunny side egg on top. The highlight of the night after the fried chicken!
For drinks we had roasted barley tea and corn tea, which is refillable and for RM 2.50, very affordable. I lost count of how many cups we had that night but enough to get us chilling there for hours after the plates have cleared. Good meal overall!
