Choco-cro! End of review. Mic Drop. Just kidding. I was introduced to this place by a co-worker when I first arrived in Japan more than a year ago. She said to stop by and grab a Choco-cro on your way to Yokosuka-Chuo station. That what I did and I’ve been coming back regularly. What is a Choco-cro? Soft, flaky croissant with mild chocolate on the inside. They have this particular one daily. They also offer a seasonal one as well. I enjoyed the green tea and white chocolate ones. They have to go boxes here. I buy them by the dozens and bring the to my workplace for my co-workers to snack on. When I’m not in a rush I’ll have one with a coffee in their non-smoking section. Service is great. Every Time I place my large order they take em straight from the oven. Best while warm in my opinion. #10/1002016

My go-to café place when I’m craving for their Danishes. I mostly take my stuff to-go but if I’m in no hurry, I’ll relax with a Danish and some yuzu tea(cold or hot, depending on the season). Recently, I’ve been enjoying their white chocolate croissants(which is only seasonal). They also have a few dessert options like zensai, warabi-mochi, an well as a few parfaits. I’ve tried a few of their other pastries in the past and were pretty good but almost always come back to their danishes.

Coffee shop with a few pastries. The wife loves the Danish from here, it is a weird hybrid of a Danish with a flaky croissant with nuts… We had coffee and tea with bread for a Saturday morning breakfast. She had her Danish, I went with a hot dog bread. The hot dog bread was not bad but I have had better. The coffee was a little bitter but I have had worse. I will be back for the wife’s sweet tooth but next time I am skipping my normal coffee and sausage bread combo and going for something else for a better result…

First time trying the choco cro even though they’re pretty famous in Singapore but for 170 it’s quite small. I would probably grab a couple more next time! But the croissant itself is abit hard and not as flaky as I had expected. The chocolate isn’t overly sweet. They have a lot more dessert options with soft cream and sure look appetizing, starting from 380jpy onwards. Grab a small snack and a drink from 350jpy onwards. St Marc is reasonably priced! I would def have to come back to try their desserts sometime!
