Great food if they have any of it available. I’ve been multiple times during different parts of the day and they are always out of something. Tonight they were out of everything… Maybe ask what they are out of before you sit down.

I am only in town for a week so I had list of the places i wanted to eat. Nawlins was one and after that I went back two more times. Good food, good beer and the staff are friendly! It is a great place to chill and have few and talk to folks.

Great place and very friendly waiters, the food is very good and it’s actually a honest price. I grew up in the south and there catfish is great how they bread it’s awesome and there red beans and rice has a good flavor, not too spicy but not bland. Sweet tea is pretty good and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Only thing I was blah about is the front seating is very small and cramped but hey I could sit on the floor and eat that food, great job guys keep it up!

28may-a really sad dinner tonight. Ordered the brisket and sausage. The brisket was not that. Was roast beef. Yes– there is a difference. And the sausage was old as fuc. Very… Disappointed. What’s a great little BBQ joint here in Yokosuka. They have a great selection of beers. The food is always great. The staff, well always welcoming. Give them a try!!!

If all else fails, just order a side of ranch dressing. It’s amazing.

I went for a late lunch with the wife. This place used to be in a different building as part of a hostel or church. Back then they only did creole dishes, not BBQ. I always loved their fried shrimp Po’boy. After reading other reviews, I only picked up my old standard at the new location next to Macchu Pichu. The shrimp Po’boy was great, the bread was a French loaf that is crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle, and the shrimp are a tad bit crispy. It is the only dish I get here and they do it well. The waiter was nice and he told us that the shrimp Po’boy was his favorite too. I never tried the BBQ, but this place works. People are friendly, food is hot, and the sweet tea is southern style goodness — not instant garbage.

Great food! Like others mentioned the portions are small for the price. I enjoyed the southern fried chicken, collards, Mac and cheese, sweet potato pie, pecan pie.

Its ok portions are small and they are usually out of what you want to order. Ham sandwhich was blahh. Enough said I m not going back.

Don’t get the brisket… pulled pork was great and my friends ribs were good. However, food was served room temperature. Beer is great with it being the only game in town. Will try again as flavor is good but needs work on presentation!

Red beans and rice are worth the trip! They were out of brisket, wings and adoullie. Met the owner and he was just as warm and welcoming as the food. Definitely will be back to sample the rest of the menu.

I chose this place because I read the review and also visited Louisiana three weeks ago. The beers on tap are great. Had the Suffolk Cider. Excellent taste and finish. The fried Chicken was spot on. Freshly cooked and tender. Red beans and rice was ok/tasted like it was made before lunch/8 hours ago. MIght be an off day. Pecan pie a la mode was on point. Just like back in the states. I really want to give them 3.5 stars but the beer and service rounds them up to 4. Great selection of Craft Beers. Most of them are Baird Beers. Love the stout and porter the most. Friendly and knowledgable staff. Ask for their recommendations. Bonus: They accept Credit Cards and have American sports on TV.

It was really good! This southern girl was going through Cajun food withdrawals! Great place! It was worth the trip from Tokyo!
