I loved this place, and as other Unilocalers have mentioned the donuts are not quite as sweet as their American cousins but they are just as good. Also the coffee is also excellent. The prices are pretty reasonable as well which made this a big hit with me during my visit to Japan. I liked it so much that I made my friend come with me later in the day to see what all the fuss was about. It stays pretty busy there too. Clean and easy to identify what you’re getting even if you don’t speak Japanese.

Hope the cupcake is seasonal. MisDo should just focus on donuts. The cupcakes aren’t that great. It’s not moist. Please bring back the cronuts instead.

Mister Donut is my all time fave donut shop in Japan! In Japan we shorten the name to «Misdo». Mister Donut is the biggest donut franchise in Japan. Their donuts are not hugely sweet like they are in the US. They offer some interesting seasonal flavors however I do have my favorites that I like to eat. Golden, Coconut, Calpis glazed French cruller ~ The chocolate golden is probably my fave. The donut has a very light sweetness with a good amount of chocolate flavoring with a crunchy golden color topping. Soooo yum. The chocolate coconut is the 2nd favorite. The Calpis(Calpico) glazed french cruller is a seasonal one that I got to try out. I’ve never been a fan of french crullers but these were pretty tasty. Enjoying my donuts with a tall glass of Japanese milk and I am a happy camper! Like a lot of fast food type franchises they Mister Donut offers trinkets for the kids, kinda like something you would get in a happy meal set. They also have a good campaign where you collect point everytime you visit and based on your purchase to get free Mister Donut items like bags and mugs. Eyes ~ Donuts!!! Nose ~ Smells sweet! Ear ~ Peeps enjoying their donut and coffee. Mouth ~ Oh chocolate golden, you are my fave! Tummy ~ Sooo Happy!!!
