I’m really fond of this little Korean restaurant/pub in the strip of Korean restaurants and shops running from Isezaki Mall to Ōka-gawa(much closer to the river than Isezaki Mall). Everything I’ve tried(limited to seafood dishes) has been really yummy, particularly a dish with sashimi, veggies, and that large Korean shiso leaf(ggaennip). I wish I could remember the name. I’m also a big fan of their toppogi. The staff is very friendly as well. There’s no sign of English menus or English speakers, but if even if you don’t speak Japanese or Korean, as long as you know the Korean names of the dishes you want, I’m sure you can sort something out. Finally, aside from their allowing smoking(boo!), the overall atmosphere of the place is really homey.
