The food and beer here were really good as well as the music(The Smiths and The Clash). We had the balmoral chicken, smoked saury, fish and chips and scotch egg. All of the dishes were good. The fish and chips were good as they pull the catfish filet out, bread it and fry it right in front of you. The smoked saury was very tasty. This was the first place that I have had smoked saury at. The balmoral chicken was as good as it looks in the pictures. We’ll be back, another diner had the clams, they looked good, maybe on the next round. Also, three craft beers and Guinness on draft, points with us.

3.5 stars. I quite like this place and will probably go back. It’s run by a pair of brothers who are aiming for a Scottish Gastropub feel. The food my friends and I had was good. They have four or five taps – when I went they had three or four Brew Dog brews(in keeping with the Scottish theme) and a guest tap. The place itself has tables and seats at the bar. It’s got a nice clean, open feel. But the lighting was dim enough to give it an intimate feel. Definitely worth a try. I don’t remember whether the menus were bilingual, but the vibe I get from the owners/staff is that they’d do their best to serve you even if you don’t speak much Japanese. My main qualm about this place is that they allow smoking. When opening up a classy new place in 2015, why would you allow smoking?
