It is one of the go to places for manga or animé. While it has a lot of things, in fact a whole building of books, DVDs, games, and souvenirs, it is pricy. Bought a box of magnets and found out that it was charged higher than the price on the box, came back and the checkout place would not want to adjust it. The return process was apparently complicated and I just left.

I’m not personally into Animé, but my friends back in the US are so i came here to do some shopping. They had t-shirts, animé books, tons of figurines, souvenirs, etc. My main complaint is the pricing. Everything here is way overpriced and found almost identical items throughout Akihabara at usually half the price. The store just didnt do it for me and was great to look around, but the pricing was just too much to bare. I may have spent 1000 yen here for maybe a magnet or something. If you are an Animé fan the store is a must visit just for the selection, but the pricing is too much and there are many other similar stores i would recommend over Animate.
