A large group of opera singers enjoyed a post-concert al fresco feast. The owner warmly welcomed us and asked who would prefer gluten-free items. The attentive staff brought baskets of bread, both with and without gluten, followed by generous bowls of mussels steamed in garlic broth. Seafood antipasti followed, countless varieties served creatively on clam shell presentations. A surprise moment before our Primi Piatti of pasta, the Roast Pig was presented intact that would be carved up for our Secondi Piatti. We dined on two pasta dishes, one with gluten free options and a porchini sauce, the other an alfredo. The roast pork was served with sliced potato roasted alongside the pig. Dessert of panna cotta was the finest I ever tasted, with choice toppings of fruitti di bosco, chocolate or caramel sauce. A divine choice for fine dining in Viterbo.

I’ve passed by this place a million times and each time there are a bunch of people eating on their beautiful patio. It’s super romantic looking and I always say«what a great date place this would be». So finally my other half and I decided to do just that, go on a date here. We parked in Sacrario which is a little bit of a walk to the restaurant, but it’s a beautiful walk so we didn’t mind. When we got there, we looked over the menu and quickly decided what we would be eating. They specialize in fish, so we took advantage of that. I ordered the strozapreti with shrimp and zucchini and he ordered some kind of pasta with clams. Both dishes were ENORMOUS. we definitely could have shared. They also have fresh fish, we saw multiple people ordering off a huge plank of fresh fish carried around by a waiter. Overall it was great, the people were super friendly, and the food was delicious. The setting was romantic, but there were some groups. I would definitely come back.
