We went there for a drink and later for a dinner. Waiters remembered us and were very kind. They moved us to a better table as soon as it was available. We ordered a sea food royal plate and had the chance to see our freshly fished food before it had been cook. The plate comes with a little salad and everything was tasty. Maybe an add of some shells would be great. Even if it looks like a touristic restaurant because of its position near the Rialto I would recommend this place.

Average Italian food for the price and location: read tourist trap right by the Rialto bridge. However, I’m giving them an extra star solely for the customer service. They obviously want to get more tourists to sit and eat at their place. And so, I was given a free Bellini: cocktail is a mixture of Prosecco sparkling wine and peach purée. It is quite good, albeit possibly girly =P I ordered the pasta w/alfredo sauce. Although I wasn’t necessarily disappointed with it, I wasn’t particularly enthused with it either. I then jumped the gun and ordered their caramel flan that was pretty good. I’m pretty sure my meal came out to about 30 euros with wine included. Nice views and free wifi at least~

We only came here since many places were not opened in Venice early in the morning and for free wifi. I ordered a pasta dish and my husband ordered fries. We liked the scenery but I was disappointed by my pasta dish. We didn’t really put any effort into finding a good restaurant as we were lugging around 2 suitcases up and down stairs through narrow passages in Venice. Our main intent was wifi and just to sit down. Pretty pricey for mediocre food.

The food was average. The same that I would find in America. Not worth it for the money. I probably spent 15 euros which is about more or less a 23 dollar meal. Granted the view was beautiful. You’re in Venice! How can it not be beautiful, no matter where you go! The service was awful. The entire meal was rushed. The waiter was incredibly rude. I ordered the seafood spaghetti which was a huge dish! I didn’t finish it. And yet when we asked the head waiter why our waiter was being rude, he literally said it is because our group only ordered one dish each person, and no drink. WTF! It’s not my fault I can’t eat a freaking 3 course meal. In addition, I was there with 5 other people! Needless to say our entire meal was over 100 euros, which is a lot in dollars! I would never go back there. There are plenty of restaurants in Venice. You do not need to go there for average food you can get in America, and shitty service. Spend your money else where my friends!

The ambiance of Florida is almost unbeatable in Venice during the morning or evening time as it’s positioned right next to the Rialto Bridge. I had breakfast and dinner here and the meals were ok but the view was breathtaking. When dining here or just grabbing caffe the cost will show higher than the quality but your paying for the ambiance and the fact that the Riva del Vin walkway gets a lot of tourist foot traffic. The service was good but did not get the true authentic Venitian Cusine I was seeking here. The evening menu is seafood heavy and the breakfast menu is basic but fulfilling plates. Great location for Romantic Evening as hopefully the company and ambiance is the main reason your there.
