We ended up coming back again due to the excellent meatballs and spaghetti. Good service and conveniently located. Really large menu and good for groups.

OKAYPIZZAJOINT We had lunch here, sharing a ½ bottle of Chianti and a Diavalo Pepperoni Pizza. The pizza was good, very similar to good pizza in the US. This is a lovely little place to rest, have a decent meal, and check email!

My husband and I are shocked to see negative reviews for this restaurant! We LOVED it! Our dinner at Trattoria Leoncini was by far our favorite restaurant meal of our whole week and a half vacation in Italy. I am vegan and had meal after meal of cheeseless pizza and pasta with tomato sauce. Finally, I got what I had been hoping for all week, a DELICIOUS vegan pesto. I had the gnocchi with vegan sauce made of basil, garlic, and olive oil. It was truly amazing! My husband(not vegan) had penne with arrabiata(spice tomato based sauce), and he said that it was the most delicious pasta dish he had all week. We love our salads, too! Our meal concluded with yummy Lemoncello. Besides the food being fantastic, we loved the service and the welcoming environment. The waiter was helpful and friendly. Overall, this was one of the best restaurant experiences of our trip, and we will be sure to go back if we return to Venice.

My friend and I went here for lunch while on vacation in beautiful Venice. The menu looked promising and had English translations(I speak a little bit of italian but not much) and the prices weren’t bad for 2 students. Our waiter was very nice and professional. My friend speaks some French and we were lucky enough to have a waiter that spoke French, Italian and English, so there was little to no language barrier. I ordered a pizza without cheese(I eat a vegan diet) and my friend had spaghetti alla carbonara and we were both very happy with our dishes. I was nervous about ordering a pizza without cheese but our waiter was very gracious about it and didn’t ask any questions which I really appreciate. We left the trattoria happy, satisfied and fed! If or when I return to Venice, I would love to eat here again!

We just happened across this restaurant without checking for reviews. We were pleasantly surprised! Greeted with complementary Bellini. The food was fabulous! Also received complementary limoncello! Service was friendly and professional! We highly recommend!

My Clam Spaghetti was on the tough side with the clams being on the small side. See pictures. My sea bass presentation was great… but no flavor. I had to drenth it in lemon and olive oil. Worst of all lots of tiny bones. Could not recommend this place except for the view sitting outside. But there are other restaurant nearby with the same view and better food. Be aware this place charge 12% service charge to your bill. Even though it was just my wife and I dining.

Food was good, freshly made and arrived very quickly, however that was the same for everything. We felt rushed from the moment we arrived, to the bill, and although very friendly we had hoped for a more relaxing meal. Great if you want to grab a bite and head out to the rest of the city, but not if you want to savour a quiet meal out, a deux.

My sister and I both had the penne all’arrabbiata here, which was both delicious and spicy enough to please our picky palates. There was another American family here, who we were seated next to, and we had a great conversation with them about our vacations. The waiter was very nice and spoke with me in Italian, and he also let Alanna and I try out the crema for the tiramisù that the chef was making and asked me if it was too sweet. Needless to say it was delicious, and we were more than pleased to help out in the baking process! This was my favorite dining experience of my entire 3 week vacation in Europe. I will definitely go back next time I’m in Venezia.
