Listen to the other reviews and don’t go here! The guy wouldn’t even let me have a bill at the end. He came up with a number and when I asked for a receipt, he hand wrote it. When I told him that he just made it up — he winked at me. Unbelievable. STAYAWAY like the other reviews say!

HORRIBLE!!! STAYAWAY!!! We had a person speaking Italian lure us into their menu and tables next to the canal. My husband had fish which had a bone in it and was fishy and had no flavor. I had the turist special with spaghetti bolognese that tasted like it was spoiled and a grilled pork chop that was so thin and bland it looked like a cold cut. The only acceptable thing was the house red wine because it is hard to ruin wine. It was very expensive for what it was and absolutely bland. We paid our tab and ran to the Al Faro Pizzeria 2 min away(where we came last night and had an amazing food). Please. PLEASE do not fall into this turist trap.

Do NOT confuse with the ‘real’ Trattoria Da «Bepi» nearby. This suspiciously similarly named restaurant was very dissapointing. The only good thing that we ordered was the lasagna, and so we supposed that the reason this restaurant has customers is its location, which is tremendous. Right next to a major tourist thoroughfare, which supplies a steady stream of customers, most of this restaurant’s tables are right by the canal, and the view is gorgeous. The food was not. And the staff were very curt, possibly migrant workers.
