I’ll never forget the mozzarella in carrozza from here as long as I live. The line you always see coming out of this place is for just the mozzarella in carrozza. So simple, yet addicting. Its like eating mcdonalds. Once you eat one might its like a chemical is triggered in your brain to want more. A must eat while in venice.

A must stop! Great calamari and fresh salads, home made lasagna and more. Excellent food and the staff is friendly and speaks English.

Wer es mal richtig italienisch möchte, keine Touristen abzocke mag und auch ein Sandwitch zum Frühstück OK findet, der ist hier genau richtig. Die Preise sind TOP (1,60 bis 4 Euro), die Bedienung ist mehr als freundlich, Toilette ist vorhanden, die Auswahl reicht von Imbiss bis zum Restaurant und ist echt lecker.
Selten vergeb ich 5 Sterne, aber ich war und bin so überrascht so etwas mitten in Venedig zu finden, dass es mir die 5 wert ist. Die fritierten Sandwitches (ähnlich Frenchtoast) mit Mozarella und Schinken, kann ich nur empfehlen. Sie kommen im 15 Minutentakt frisch an die Theke. Espresso für 1 Euro, statt 6,50 Euro am Markusplatz finde ich auch überaus angenehm und das obwohl der Rialoto keine 400m entfernt ist.

Die frischen Mozzarella sind ein absoluter hit und nur zur empfehlen. Eine echte venezianische Trattoria mit ördlichen Spezalitäten. Um die Mittagszeit ist dort der Bär los wenn die Venezianer dort einkehren. Einfach nur zu empfehlen!

This place is located close to Rialto Bridge. Once you are in Campo San Bartolomio you just have to find the «ROSTICCERIA» sign and follow the arrow walking in the tiny street underneath it. It’s always crowded so come early. Try the mozzarella in carrozza!
