I really don’t like using the cheesy word«gem» often, but I would say this place pretty much is one. Located very close to the Colonna boat stop. This is a mom-and-pop style place that has plenty of small town charm. Above all, worth commending is how the waiters are NICE to tourists and make us feel welcomed. They have tons and tons of topping combinations. Mushroom and artichoke? Sure. Hot salami? Sure. Can’t decide and want 4 different quadrants? Sure. French fries on your pizza? Sure. While this sounds crazy, the pizza shines. They use just enough cheese to be perfectly satisfying and not the cheesy mess the rest of the world expects. The sauce is SO simple… And SO good. Whoaaaa… There’s wifi, too! Tip for being extra fancy pants: Italians eat their pizza with a knife and fork! I don’t know how the hell their cut through the whole thing without it being a workout. I gave up later on and ate the crust parts like an American… Anyway, I don’t have enough nice things to say about this place. Pastas looked great, too, and I would definitely come back here for a bite on Murano!
