Loved this place! Nice clean, great food, good wine all at reasonable prices. Seems more of a younger crowd and it is casual– order at the bar and just sit down.

The best place to eat in ALL of Venice! Venice is not exactly known for good food and is known as more of a tourist attraction with tourist trap restraunts. But Estro is fantastic! Their a wine bar and restraunt in the Dorsoduro area. On our second night in Venice we chose to eat at this place. The people that work there speak English and were so incredibly nice, helpful, and knowledgeable about all of the wine they serve. The eggplant Parmesean was our favorite dish and the dessert wine that came with dessert cookies was the best! We even came back to this place on our last night in Venice to just have some wine. They serve a great glass of wine for as little at 2 euro… A real deal because the wine is amazing! If you’re in venice and looking for a great place to eat for some authentic italian cuisine go here! It’s a true hidden gem!

What a find. Fabulous cichetti — small bites that are like sandwiches, many under 2 euros. It’s part of the slow food movement, and everything is thoughtfully prepared and delicious. Lots of vegetarian options as well as cichetti with ham, mushrooms, and salami. Wines range from 2.50 euros up. Amazing.
