Great place if you accidentally leave your wallet behind, call back immediately, and it’s nowhere to be found. There were mostly staff members at the time and I find it hard to believe no one could produce the missing wallet. The waiter named Imran, who kept saying he was from Bangladesh, was acting very suspiciously as the other waiter, who is bald, kept talking to us as to distract us. If this is the staff’s attitude regarding belongings accidentally left behind by their customers, then I want to warn everyone to avoid this restaurant, because they hire crooks as employees.

Cute little café for coffee and sweets while you’re on the island of Lido. open to the street it invites you to come in and sit awhile.

While on a photo walking tour of Venice with a photojournalist, we asked him about a place nearby where we finished to have dinner. He recommended this place, although he did mention that he was friends with the owner. He always had spaghetti with clams, shrimp and mussels in a slightly spicy sauce. That is my favorite so we decided to stop. We sat outside although the evening was a little cool as we love the fresh air and watching all the people and boats go by. Their outdoor space has been cut down a bit because the water bus station has moved in front of them during reconstruction. We told the owner we wanted the spaghetti «Marco style» as it isn’t on the menu. He and Marco got a big kick out of that, and the evening was set. My spaghetti was wonderful, and my wife’s pasta in a white sauce was just as great. So, if you happen to be in Venice near the Rialto Bridge, stop in for spaghetti «Marco style». If enough people ask for it, it might show up on the menu. Also, stop inside and look at Marco’s pictures lining the walls. They are wonderful.

Stopped here for happy hour with a great view of Rialto Bridge. One house wine and one beer for 11 euro and they brought us potato chips. Stayed and ordered another and got a small order of French fries. Bought another and got a small order of onion rings. Bought another and got free fish rings (like onion rings made out of fish). Super nice staff, great service, great people watching and for the location not bad priced.
