La Chiusa is one of those special restaurants you will remember forever. The food was spectacular, the service incredible and the views and atmosphere remarkable. The rabbit entrée was one of the best main courses I have ever eaten. The homemade pasta(which they actually demoed the process for us) was so good that I’m not sure I’ll be able to enjoy pasta back in the US. If I make it back to Tuscany there is zero doubt I will return to this amazing place.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had and unparalleled service. Each dish we had was delicious. We started with the zucchini flowers and porcini crepes, followed by truffle tagliatelle and the rabbit… out of this world! They also came out and showed us how they make their homemade pasta! The views, service, and food are all unbelievable, not to be missed! Can’t wait to come back when I’m back in Tuscany.

Incredible service and amazing food! You can’t go wrong with a meal from LA Chiusa. Although expensive this is a great restaurant within a beautiful setting that is worth a visit. You won’t be disappointed.

We have been here several times over the last 15 years. It’s hard to believe that each time we go it gets better and it’s hard to improve on perfection! Dania and Umberto are an amazing team. Dania signs her soup with not only her name but love that you can taste. Trying to choose our favorite dish is like choosing your favorite child, we love everything !!! The amazing service is managed by Giampaolo, he could easily mange the dining room at any 6 star hotel in the world. We love this place and can’t wait to return later this year!!!

This is probably one of the most expensive dinners I ever had. We started with two soups, a white beans and barley cream soup and a porcini soup. Both were delicious. Then my wife had a tagliatelle of black truffles and I had a rabbit stuffed with bacon with grated black truffles on top — both amazing. We accompanied the meal with Nubile di Montepulciano, a great red wine typical to the area. We finished with a semifredo of chocolate with hot chocolate sauce which was also very good. During the meal(which lasted for 2.5 hours) we were often approached by Umberto, the co-owner, who shared his view of life according to the Tuscan philosophy, recommended the wine or which dish to have and generally had a good time interacting with us and the other diners. We were also invited into the kitchen to have a look and talk with Dania, the chef and the cooks, where I was offered tiny tastes from other dishes which were not even on the menu. All in all, one of the best meals I had, even with the high cost.

We enjoyed a fantastic family style meal with our Duvine biking group. The food kept coming and it was all fantastic. Wine seemingly came from bottomless bottles and the people were so friendly. Loved it.
