Cheapest food! And pretty decent too! I’ve been to this place countless time by now. Few dozen times at least. It is right smack in the middle of all things tourist. One can argue that it is also hidden. I come to Rome every year. And I used to stay at an apartment down the street from here on Via Del Corso. And frequented this place a few too many times. Guess I like the place! What’s good? Take away aka take out! I’ve only dined here about 2 times out of my several dozen visits. It looks nice and all. But I mainly come here for late night/on the rush meals. Food is decent and quite cheap! Fried rice and noodles can run you around 3.50 euros.(CHEAP). It’s a hit and miss at times. The chicken dishes are pretty good. I love the pollo cioppolinos! It’s always good without fail. Your fried rice can either be really good or really bad depends on your other orders. I had amazing ones and not so great ones. Not sure how much food you get dining in but take out is pretty tiny. But does the job for me. Check the time before you go. They tend to close early since it’s pretty dead here at late night. And late night food can’t be found easily in this area. If you do get there late, just talk to the lady! Not the guys. She has always been super cool about making my takeout food way past their closing time. Now, can you compare this to the best Chinese you’ve ever had? No, not really. But if you are here for a long term or if you are in Roma often and stay around this area, this is your best bet! And if you hate it, you can always go to piazza navona area for better Chinese!

The place has both indoor and outdoor tables. The rice is good. I got a chicken with onions: the taste was ok, but too many small bones! The dishes are not expensive, in general. In average 3 – 4 €. The fixed menu is 9 €.

We love the food here because of the fresh ingredients. They can even make a dish to your choice as well!

It was a good choice for Chinese restaurant in Rome. Food is better than average. I ordered Kao Bao Ji Ding, Tofu with red sauce, spinach with garlic sauce with steamed whole fish. It tastes really delicious after a long walk in Pantheon. Service is quick and attentive.

Pretty good Chinese restaurant in Rome, Italy! It’s within walking distance from the Pantheon and other tourist sites. Most ppl try to go in through the wrong door, but the actual door is to the right haha. Food-wise it’s ok; pretty authentic. Portions are small but prices aren’t bad either. They have the usual meats, noodle, and rice dishes. They also have hot pots that were pretty good, esp with tofu.

I’d give it 5 stars but 4 for the slow service, we ordered beef with green pepper, chicken with almonds, shrimp soup, mushroom soup, rice with eggs and vegetables and shrimp with hot sauce, the food was cooked very well, well spiced too. worth the visit if you had enough of Italian food.

The only way that this is the best Chinese restaurant in Rome is because it’s the only Chinese restaurant in Rome. We ordered lemon chicken, shrimp dumplings, and Cantonese fried rice. Lemon chicken had no flavour, shrimp dumplings turned out to be sui mai with an oily orange substance, and the Cantonese fried rice took 20 minutes arrive after our other dishes. Poor service and poor quality food.

I am Chinese and I was desperate for rice! As much as I loved all the Italian food we tried in Rome and Venice, I just needed to fulfill my rice craving and this restaurant was about a 5 minute walk from our hotel in Rome. The quantity of food was pretty good for the price. I ordered Lemon Chicken, with fried rice, and it came with two spring rolls per person(more generous than in the US). DH had the Kung Pao Chicken with fried rice and also got the spring rolls. Since this visit was to be our only Chinese food in Italy, we wanted to make the most of it and ordered the Shrimp Stir Fried Noodles. So the food. Hmm… it was ok. As I said above, the quantity was pretty good, but the Kung Pao Chicken and the Shrimp Stir Fried Noodles were too oily and the chicken in the Lemon Chicken dish was so small that many of the pieces seemed to be disguised in only breading. On a positive note, the spring rolls were pretty good and the fried rice was really just what I was looking for. There were nice pieces of meat and vegetables in them and this did not taste oily or contain too much soy sauce.

The guidebooks would have you believe Chinese food in Rome is mediocre. Not true at this small place near Trevi Fountain. Though the portions seemed small than what we’re used to in the States, we were impressed by the freshness of the produce, the tenderness of the meat/poutry, and were more than satisfied at the end of our meal. Our family of three enjoyed Mongolian beef, Chicken with snowpeas, and steamed rice. I also appreciated a break from the noise and craziness of all the tourists in Centro Storico.
