White Cafe

Definitely felt some discrimination in this place. We were tasting several of the flavors — after having visited earlier and saying we would be back– and after tasting about 3 maybe 4 (max of about 20) flavors they said we needed to pay before we could taste anymore. We should have left then but decided to get 1 medium cup instead of 2… after purchasing, they would not let my disabled US Army veteran husband who was walking eith a cane and knee braces sit down for a moment to get himself together before leaving… would not visit ever again, get your Gelato elsewhere

We were wandering around in Rome, looking for gelato for the kids and wine for us, when we stumbled on to White. Its bright, vibrant feel immediately attracted us to its doorway and fortune was smiling on us. This place is excellent! You can get everything from pizza, to espresso, to gelato, and all manner of adult beverages. The Boy, as we refer to him, decided to go all out and get a large gelato. As you can see from the picture I posted, it’s quite the presentation… and quantity. The older boy chose a liter of beer (yes, he’s old enough to do so) which was almost as big as his head. My espresso was delicious and can be purchased in small, medium, and «never go to sleep» sizes.
All in all, we highly recommend this place!

Sleek white interior, an ordering system that is still hard to get used to (walk PAST the gelato to the back, pay first, THEN order), friendly service, and subpar gelato.
I don’t want to lie to you — I’ve been eating some gelato lately. And by some I mean «a serving a day for the past week» and this was just not as rich and creamy as any other spot I stopped into.
