I went shopping in Rome without really knowing what was a «brand» and what wasn’t. I was in search of a practical but beautiful Italian leather bag I could use for work and play and the one in their window caught my eye. I questioned the quality because the gold accents didn’t seem heavy duty and it looked like if it scratched against something enough, the gold color might scrub off but I purchased it anyway because it was my last day in Rome. The price was pretty fair at 79 euros. Customer service isn’t really much to admire or sought after in Italy so I didn’t expect much. Other than the normal, «finding everything okay?» question, they let me browse around. Now that I’m back in Hawaii, I’m really regreting not purchasing more bags at this store. The gold paint didn’t scratch off as easily as I thought and I’ve received many compliments on the bag. I tried looking for stores online that may sell it at a higher price but there was none. =( Sandro Ferrone is mainly a women’s clothing store with very fashionable pieces. I really wish I had more time to shop here but it was 15 minutes before all the stores closed up and my «bag search» was coming down to crunch time. If I ever do travel again to Italy, I’ll definitely be visiting another Sandro Ferrone store!
