My wife kept eyeing this place as we strolled through the neighborhood so we decided to make it the special ristorante for her birthday dinner. The hotel made our reservations and we were not disappointed. Everything was fine; the service, food, ambience, and cost. The grilled swordfish was perfect for me and she enjoyed her thin noodles and seafood. Overall a pleasant dining experience.

Nice place, looks fancy but atmosphere is actually quite laid back and waiters very welcoming. The front façade mentioned their fish specialty so that’s what we went for. Beware of the fish they sell by weight — I don’t think they actually weigh the fish and most probably you will be charged a standard 500grams! It ended up being pricier than we thought but the fish were really really good, and we were treated with amazing service, including complimentary cookies and grappa/limoncello, as well as a gift bottle of local red wine as we left — I’m sure it doesn’t cost them much but it’s a very nice gesture that ensures a lasting good impression about the place. I would recommend starter or primo then secundo piatto as their contorni(sides) were average. Good selection of wines. We had the house white wine and it was good.

Our travel agent recommended Tema for lunch during our walking tour of Rome. We’re glad he did. From the Caprese salad to the desert, everything was very tasty. Staff was friendly. They noticed my son was really enjoying the balsamic vinegar, so they gave him a little bottle to take with him.

This is a great Italian restaurant with a nice atmosphere. We got an appetizer, first course, second course, wine, and desert and the total was 65 Euros, which I thought was very reasonable given the quality.

Just went here for our last night in Rome. Wanted something close to our hotel, so we chose this spot. I am really glad we did. The food was great and our server was one of the nicest I’ve had. We ended up ordering a couple of apps: Caprese Salad and Bruschetta and both were very good. For entrees we had the Linguini with Lobster Sauce, Risotto Scampi, Lamb Ribs and Gnocchi with mushrooms. Everyone was very happy with their meal. For dessert we ordered Tiramisu and Panna Cotta with fresh berries. Both were fantastic! On top of all of this we were given free after dinner drinks and cookies. Then, when we thought it couldn’t get any better, the waiter calls me back in the restaurant and gives us a free bottle of wine to go! Our server also spoke great English. Needless to say we highly recommend this place!

Ate here on our first night in Rome, and it was so good we came back on our last night that same week! The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is amazing. The first night, I had the bruschetta and the lasagna, and both were delicious. On our second visit, we had the mussels, caprese, and bruschetta, and I had the pasta carbonara. My father-in-law had the pasta vongole. All of our food was amazing, and because the wait was so long, they treated us to free glasses of champagne! And the tiramisu is devine. Loved this place and can’t wait to visit again on our next trip!

Food court level meal. Ordered the spaghetti and clam sauce, it was tepid and tasteless. Ordered the prawns in lemon sauce, it was greasy/oily and overcooked to the point that the prawns just gushed out of their shells. I would give it one star, but the mixed green salad was pretty good, and the bread was fresh and tasty(best part of the meal). It was edible, but no better than food court in the US level, so we ditched our food as fast as we could and went to Sapori for pizza(which is extremely thin pizza with a flavorful tomato pizza sauce and delicious toppings.

My wife and I were trying to go to another place but it was unfindable so we landed at Tema. And it was a good thing that we did! We walked in at 7 pm(which as we have found out is way early for dinner in Europe) and were promptly seated in a nearly empty restaurant(off season and not a busy time I guess). The waiter was super kind and spoke a bit of English to help us linguistically challenged Americans. We ordered two vin Rossi(red wine) and started with an octopus salad. The salad was fantastic — NOT iceberg(gag) but rather romaine with a nice coat of olive oil and lemon juice. The octopi(?) was tender and not too chewy like some can be. All in all an excellent starter. The next course was penne with a salmon sauce. It was the best salmon sauce I have ever had, of course it was my first but whatever. After polishing that off we had the veal limone. Honestly, the veal was my least favorite of the plates. It was tender and all but the combination of citrus and the richness of the veal weren’t complimentary(although as I was typing this it seems like it should be… idk). The last thing we had was, of course, tiramisu. Excellence all around… I mean, come on it’s tiramisu in Italy what do expect? To our surprise the meal ended with complimentary liquors — a lemon liqueur(more like lemon drops!) and, what I suspect was, a cherry liquor. Both were a punch in the face! As a note you should ask for your bill and expect to spend at least 2 hrs there to dine(it’s an experience like all meals in France or Italy — enjoy it!). Last note, pay in the front of the restaurant and you can use magnetic strip cards for those of us still stuck in the 1990’s. To sum up, excellent service, excellent food, excellent experience.

We are here one night on our honeymoon in 2006, and it was just lovely. The food and wine were great, and they were so friendly. They took our picture and included it in a copy of their menu for us to keep as a memento. A wonderful memory.

We went here after a comically bad experience at another nearby restaurant and had an amazing dinner. The first night we only had enough room left for a risotto, but it was delicious. We followed that up with a Pana cotta that was topped with some amazing fresh fruit; which was delicious. The staff here is so friendly, and the atmosphere is that of a laid-back but classy Italian restaurant. Whether you go in jeans and a t-shirt or wear a jacket, you feel comfortable here. No pretension, just great food and hospitality. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food and service. We loved it so much we wanted to go back for another night and this time we tried the mussels appetizer, followed with a scrambled eggs and bacon spaghetti(which was so intriguing that we had to try it; we made the right choice), then main courses of veal and a prosciutto-topped steak. Pana cotta again for dessert with a grappa and espresso to finish and we left what was one of the most enjoyable dining experiences we have ever had. We want to go there one more time before we leave!

Carte variee avec nombreux poissons, service sympa mais totalement anarchique, 30 minutes de decalage entre le service du premier et du dernier convive. difficile de manger chaud ensemble Par contre à la fin du repas, du limoncello et de la grapa sont offerts à tous

We were in Rome for 2 nights, and had dinner for 2 consecutive nights because it was that good! Good thing we came early enough, as later on at night when dinner traditionally starts around 9AM this place does get full. The pricing was reasonable for the quality of the food. The location is not for people watching, but I would rather spend money on food quality as oppose to sitting outside to people watch. We had their appetizers, entrees from meat to pasta and desserts, wine. They were all delicious! My favorite was the gnocchi. It appears to be a local business with English speaking waiter service. Remember when you’re in Europe you must ask for the check, since it is considered rude for the waiter to give the clients the check without asking.
