Drunken Cow

My fiancé and I visited Rome last week and ended up here for my birthday dinner. My one requirement while we wandered the streets looking for a restaurant was that I wanted a seafood pasta. This place did not disappoint! The service was kind and courteous. We sat at a table with friends near the open kitchen and enjoyed watching the chefs cook the meals. The food took no longer than food normally takes in Rome to reach the table. The pasta was cooked perfectly. Probably the best pasta we’ve ever had. The wine selection was delicious. The chefs were even cracking jokes with us through the window. Would definitely come back!
(Note: they only serve seafood dishes on Tuesday and Friday, when the seafood comes in fresh)

This place is awesome!!! It is modern and trendy and the service was impeccable. As soon as one. Course was finished the next was on the table! I had the beef rolls with potatoes in a tomato sauce. Yum. My husband had a killer pasta. This place is busy and has a great vibe!!!

Four of us arrived around 7pm. The table was not cleaned before we got seated. Many of the menu items were not ‘in season’ so not available despite being on the permanent menu. We couldn’t order tap water. Don’t eat here. Two of the five dishes (which were recommended) was mediocre, food was slow to come out and we could not take our leftovers away. They refused to box it up. What a waste!
