What a gem. We had only been in Rome for a few hours, and I found this place on Unilocal.I went with the recommendation of the Vesuvius pizza. No regrets there. It was fresh and tasty. There is limited seating at this place, so my boyfriend and I where inside, right on the glass window where the pizzas are prepared. It was like Food Network, but live. We also ordered a Caprese and two Peroni. Everything was perfect. The manager was also our server, he was running around like a madman getting everyone they’re food and drink. He was super polite and very attentive, given that he was trying to do everything but cook.

Ordered the rustica. Potato and sausage. Not bad pizza, very thin crust, not very puffy and mine was a little burnt in some areas. Not bad value, but also not great. Watch out for the service charge. 0.50 € to sit down. There isn’t much seating available so watch out in peak times or be prepared to take away.

Great food, great service, low prices. My only complaint is there’s no air conditioning. So, by the time my wife and I finished a bottle of wine we were very hot. Would definitely go back again. Pizza and pasta were both excellent!

All the food was delicious. The«pepperoni» pizza is actually bell peppers and sausage, it was very good! The lasagna too! Small interior with exterior sidewalk tables. We had to wait for 20 minutes to seat our party of 9 worth the wait! When in Rome make sure you stop here. Cheap beer too only 3.5 for 66cl!

What an amazing restaurant! Thank you Unilocalers! It was better than expected! We started with the Greek Insalate which was very fresh and and excellent start to our meal. Finishing off with both the Vesuvio & Caprese pizza’s which were delizioso! Do yourself a favor the next time you find yourself hungry in Rome, eat at Sapori’e Delizie!

Fantastic food! Fantastic staff! This charming place is hard to see if on the wrong side of the street, covered by trees. I came to try Cacio e Pepe in Rome according to other Unilocalers this place looked like a great place and within walking distance to my hotel. Unfortunately it was not on the menu, I asked anyway, it never hurts to ask! No, okay so I ordered the Pomodoro pasta it was very good but I was still craving something a little spicer. It was simply a personal taste, because I could definitely tell this dish was made with love! After that I tried zucchini flower so delicious also the potato croquettes so flavorful! My family had ordered the prosciutto calzone simple and delicious. The Vesuvio pizza flavored were amazing! I’m only visiting for a short time but if I were staying longer I would definitely return here this place is fantastic!

We felt welcomed here, after being disappointed by other pizzerias, we were grateful to Unilocal to recommand that place! Tiny but warm space, and the pizzas are super tasty! Service is good too, which is rare in Italy.

Delicious pizza! I can’t remember what we got exactly, but we enjoyed it thoroughly. I was extremely surprised to no one in this shop when we arrived, especially with all the rave reviews on Unilocal. It was during a weekday, so maybe that could be why? Anyway, the staff there is extremely nice and it was cool seeing them make the pizza in front of us. My only complaint is the crust. It’s very burnt. I like mine a little on the soft side, so I didn’t have any of the crust. But other than that, the meal and the service was great!

Easily the best pasta and pizza we had in our stay in Rome. Very affordable! We tried the fried olives and the croquettes. The olives were good but the croquettes were best. The specialty pizzas are really good. We tried the Vesuvio and the torre eifle pizzas. They were both delicious and what we were hoping for in a pizza here. The pastas were really good too. We tried the pesto and pomodoro pastas. We’d recommend the pomodoro because their sauce is pretty good. The 2 desserts we tried were good but the tiramisu with coffee was definitely the better. The cannoli is good if you’re in the mood for it but I’m partial to tiramisu. If you are in Rome I’d recommend to go out of your way to get here for some awesome pizza that won’t break the bank. Very tasty and satisfying.
Thanks for a great experience Evo! Hopefully we’ll be back to Rome soon.

05.05.16 our first day in Rome we want to eat origional pasta and pizza and we found out about the restaurant, it was not easy to find with Google map but once we reach we found a very small shop and no one is eating. The staff there was very helpful and friendly and choose for us the halal food. The food was excellent although it was only vegetables and tuna. They told me that there is another staff Egyptian but will come at 4 pm unfortunately I couldn’t wait for him.

Were walking back from the Colosseum and found this place on Unilocal.Got there right as they opened and found seats right away(it’s a pretty small place inside). I ordered the Caprese pizza and it was very very good. Wife wasn’t terribly hungry and got some potato croquettes that I thought were pretty average. Service was friendly and it was very cheap. Would absolutely recommend this place.

Amazing little place! This was our first great(and full) meal here in Italy. Service was quick and friendly. My husband got spaghetti bolognese and I got spaghetti with pesto. The pasta was fresh and homemade(that or it just tastes like it was and I’m losing my mind) but it was still amazing. My hubby wished that he had more basil in his spaghetti bolognese than one piece, but it’s hardly a concern. I think we paid something like 18 € for our entire meal with water which costs extra of course. If it weren’t such a hike from our current place, we’d go again. Yum!

Great customer service. Not sure his name but the guy who took our orders and made our pizza was very flexible and accommodating. He laughed and joked w us and made us feel very welcome. Not much of a dining experience(in the sense of having a waiter seat you, take orders, and serve you) but there are a few places to sit inside and out. You’ll order your pizza(s) and pick up from the counter when ready. Pizza was great — freshly made(w fresh ingredients) before your eyes and very tasty. Do it.

Nothing to write home about. Meh. From all the reviews I was expecting so much better, but was sadly disappointed. Had much better here in LA. And surprisingly the best pizza I had was actually in Milan– not even in Napoli. Got the Margherita(2 stars) — Simple, the sauce wasn’t special, the cheese didn’t blow me away, yes this is a simple pizza and the flavors are still supposed to stand out, this didn’t. My cousin had the one with prosciutto added on top, he said it was alright as well. With the dough, sauce, and everything I had much better quality elsewhere. Don’t get what all the crazy fuss is about. Let down :(

This place is pure awesome. No frills, just delicious pizza and pasta at affordable prices. Everything is made fresh and their portions are generous! Service is quick and to the point. Dinning here reminded us of NY a bit: D I posted pictures of their menu so you can also see their prices. The pizza crust was perfectly executed and the toppings are of good quality. Tried the Cacio e Pepe. The pasta was cooked al dente. Noodles with a slight chew in a creamy homemade sauce. I love that we could also order take out from here, not every restaurant in Italy has that option. We were quite tired after all the site seeing on most days, so it was nice to be able to pick up some food from here and eat it in our hotel. Good food with great prices.
