This place has a huge number of pluses and basically no drawbacks. Exceptionally friendly staff, popular with locals(we were the only non-Italians there), and uses only stone-ground flours from their own mill. You can buy whole loaves of chickpea(ceci), millet(miglio), or buckwheat(farina saracena) flour bread, but if you just want a snack or lunch, they got you covered. Do not miss the sformatto(a sort of mozzarella mashed potato casserole with broccoli and topped with gf bread crumbs), nor the squash-blossom pizza!

Fabulous place, lots of great, healthy options for a quick snack in the centre of Rome. All gluten free which is great news for us but there’s no sacrifice here — the food is good, and good for you.
