Ce restaurant né sert que des produits frais! Très bonne expérience, nous y sommes allés pour un lunch et c’était une agréable surprise! Le vin était également très bon, ainsi que les desserts! A recommander.

Unable to describe the taste of their tortellini… The ideal comibination of slightly salty cheese and the discrete sweetness of the tomatoe. Incredible!

We were not far from this restaurant, and our concierge recommended it, so we gave it a try for our last dinner in Rome. Most of the patrons were local; always a good sign! The restaurant was crowded; another great sign! When we arrived, we were greeted and asked a preference on seating, and we chose a delightful table outside. It was a beautiful night, and about to get even better. Since English was not really spoken, I was weak Italian/Spanish skills and the beautiful, gracious waitress made it work. We started with a delightful cheese board appetizer that we shared and it was fantastic with a glass of Merlot for my hubby and Pinot Grigio for me. EXCELLENT! As for entrees, hubby had a delightful rigatoni alle carbonara which was delicious and I had the special of the day which was pasta with some locally caught fish. I expected ‘fish’ but it was a lovely crab and lobster mix in a very tasty sauce that complemented the dish, unlike some that overwhelm with sauce. It was PERFECT. Following our meal, hubby had Tira Misu which he said was beyond great. I had the Crème Bruelle alla pistachio. It was HEAVENLY!!! We usually just order entrees and enjoy, but we had to go ‘the whole 9 yards’ at Osteria because everything was just wonderful. The service was SUPERIOR, the food was EXCELLENT; Perfect way to finish our last evening in Roma. Don’t go to Rome without going to this restaurant!

The place to be in Rome! Food was delicious. By far, the best of the whole trip.(Fresh calamari salad, curry chicken with mango, bbq pork kabobs) Atmosphere: cozy, colorful, great design. I wish I could take them home with me.

First visit and we like it very much. Very good service and also good meals! We spend a lot of time to find a not tourist trap, we want to enjoy a good meal in Roma as it is in Bella Italia and we found it here.

First visit was just dropped drinks — fun cocktail menu. Next day lunch — just a bit off the path from the Pantheon but a lovely quiet location. Exceptional service and great ambience(great music in the background). Really amazing food — some of the best we had in Rome. The bean soup had amazing favors, salmon was exceptional, all the flavors were subtle and perfect. New favorite in the heart of Rome.

Happening scene; delicious cuisine. Service was fine, ambience interesting & lively, food terrific. Vast and, from what I could tell, excellent selection of wines by bottle & by glass. Location can’t be beat, directly across the Piazza di Pietro from the huge ancient columns of Hadrian’s Temple The food was fresh and perfectly prepared(try the gnudi). This is not your local strip mall Italian restaurant.

Situated close to Piazza Navona and The Pantheon, Osteria dell’ingegno is a charming restaurant/café/bar on a square overlooking the Temple of Hadrian. The menu is simple but fairly innovative and as is common in Italy the menu is adjusted with the season. We found it warmly welcoming and inviting. On arrival we were generously plied with ‘Suppli’(Roman Tapas) which included stuffed olives, salami, fried mozzarella, pistachio nuts and garlic crostini — all free of charge. The menu displayed a virtuosity in traditional Roman flavours, the use of aromatic herbs and spices to create dishes full of flavour. Though we didn’t eat there(we just had pre-supper drinks) we noted the spinach filled ravioli in cheese sauce, the codfish fritters with yellow polenta and chilli, the veal saltimbocca with sage, wine and juniper and the roast duck with a sweet-and-sour sauce flavored with bay, wine and raisins. Service was prompt and delightful and we paid in the region of 17 Euros(or about £14) for a bottle of water and 2 large glasses of good Montepulciano. We noted that a good evening meal with drinks would probably costs over 100 Euros(about £85) for 2 people. That said, the overall impression we got was of great quality and attention to detail.
