Delicious gelato, very reasonably priced at just 3 euro for a medium cup with two flavors. I had the Nutella and the Biscotti, they were rich and creamy and just top notch. Lots of other specialities at the site as well, including a juice bar and a number of frozen treats. Worth the visit!

BEST GELATO.
I only stayed in Roma for four days, but trust me, I tried so many gelato places.
All of them were great but man. This place is the best. The owner is the sweetest man! The gelato is delicious but the owner makes the experience much more enjoyable.
He’s so generous; he let us try basically every flavor. He showed me that mixing Arancia Rossa and Cioccolato Fondente makes your tastebuds cry with joy. I can’t wait to go back because this is definitely the place I’ll be at first!

J’ai lu dans les guides de tourisme que c’était l’un des meilleurs glaciers de Rome. Je né pouvais donc pas partir sans aller goûter, et ca a été le meilleur glacier que j’ai pu gouter.
La dulce de caramel, la menthe, le tiramisu… toutes étaient très bonnes. Ils ont 3 types de chantilly (pas sucré) nature, vanille et caramel.
Il y a aussi pleins de petites sucettes glacés, un bar à glacé où on peut mettre des smarties, et autres petites choses sur sa glacé.
Je vous le conseils vivement si vous allez dans la ville éternelle

Wonderfully friendly counter staff who were incredibly charming, helpful, and cheery — not to mention the most delicious gelato of the entire trip (we tried 20+ places during our vacation). Definitely go and pay them a visit, you won’t regret it. All the flavors we sampled were amazingly fresh, very strong and flavorful, and delicious!

I’m no gelato expert but the flavors from Il Dolce Sorriso were tasty and cheap with great consistency to boot. The nice lady behind the counter provided unlimited samples (within reason) with a smile. The pistachio, nutella and café flavors were my favorite.
Gelato seems to flow like aqueduct water in this town, but no other Gelateria made my stomach and wallet as happy as Il Dolce Sorriso.

This gelato was just as good as Giolitti, but much better service and warmth. Giolitti gelato was amazing, but they seem jaded with all the tourists. This place had amazing gelato, but with a much better atmosphere. There is a couple who run it and make their own gelato. Each time we went, the husband was behind the counter, and even on our 3rd and 4th time there, he gave us samples so we could try his different flavors. Can’t say enough good things about this place!

Also ich als bekennender Eis «ab und zu mal «Esser kann wirklich behaupten hier gibt es das beste jemals von mir verspeiste Eis. Und mein Mann als ich liebe Eis und könnte es andauernd essen und erwarte von den Italienern auch das beste Eis Esser ist der gleichen Ansicht. Von außen recht unscheinbar mit einigen Plastikstühlen vor der Tür (die braucht man um das unglaubliche Geschmackserlebnis zu verdauen.) sind wir also rin in den Laden und die üblichen bekannten Sorten entdeckt (Kokos, Mojito, Banane, Vanille, Ricotta, Limone, Grapefruit, Cookies, Waldfrucht, dunke und helle Schoki, Minze, Pistazie usw. usw. Für mich gab es Banane, dunkle Schoki, Mango und Strawberry Cheesecake. AAAAHHHHHH, war das lecker. Mein Mann wünschte sich Mojito, Lakritze, Frutti di Bosco und Ricotta und auch er war hin und weg. Außerdem positiv zu erwähnen, die Angestellten waren äußerst freundlich (nicht allzu üblich :-(). Darum 5 Sterne, allein dafür hat sich die Reise gelohnt
