Nice Asian restaurant especially based on roman standards. We had sushi, sashimi, noodle dishes, excellent tofu, bamboo… all good and tasty… presentation of food was nice… it was convenient that the waitress spoke mandarin. Lots of modern funky red décor. Red glass lights very interesting… Intimate.

Kuriya serves very good Asian food for Italian standards. The menu is pricy but the fixed menu is very affordable. I had a salad, miso soup, vegetable side, and roll of sushi for under 13 euro.
Décor is very modern and romantic. Lighting is a little dimmed to give a sense of intimacy.
Service was lacking. We ordered after 30 minutes of trying to catch our waitress. We ordered and had the 1 hour to chit chat until a different server approaches us asking, «Did you order yet?» We waited again, watching at least 3 tables come and go.
This pan-​asian restaurant tests your patience and requires you to be Zen. We received apologies on our way out, which fixed some of the damage. Who can stay mad at little Asian women?
