OMG!!! This place! I’ve been looking for it on the internet the past 5 months and finally found it. We bought the most delicious treats on this shop. Stumbled upon it after a tour that finished in the Piazza Navona and while trying to find our way back to the hotel we passed by it. I dream of going back to Rome and stopping here.

This place is amazing. I have become somewhat disenchanted by the food experience in Rome because of all of the tourist traps, but I stumbled upon this place with my husband while shopping and have gone back every day since. They are patient with us indecisive Americans. Great savory paninis and amazing pastries. Going back tomorrow before we leave Rome!

Everything we had was amazing. Pistachio torte, ham and mozzarella panini were great. The sfogliatelle napoletane was one of the best things I’ve had in Rome.

The Napolitani are excellent! Had to go back the next day for another! So good! Definitely worth the splurge!

This bakery or Forno is a local favorite of mine. The huge mortadella by the door is incredibly big. The pizza/focaccia with toppings are sold by weight and are delicious! I ate a slice of ham, mushroom and cheese for a mid afternoon snack. So fresh and delightful. The cookies are yummy, the bread is yummy. You can’t go wrong here. And the staff will try to speak English to you if you need the help. A wonderful bakery all around that is just off the Campo Di Fiori in central Rome.

Crowded little bakery full of traditional Italian baked goods. The cannoli and(gigantic) meringue were both great!

When I lived in Trastevere, I would walk forty-five minutes just to pick up some sfogliatelle from this bakery. I know it’s sacrelige, but the sfogliatelle here is better than any I had anywhere further south in Italy. The pastry was incredibly crisp and sweet, and the orange rind and ricotta absolute heaven. Do yourself a favour and pick some up ASAP.

this place was rated high on tripadviser AND on Unilocal… it was nasty. rude. their was 2 employees working here… the cashier smelled of cigarettes and the other one that was helping the other customers was rude as heck… an old mad in front of us couldnt decide so she literally yelled at him to wait to the side and figure out what he wanted… then she barked at me to order… so i did… and she never said«thanks» or even made eye contact with me… how rude. gross pastries. after paying i sat outside and dove into both the pastries that i bought… i took one bite of the chocolate cannoli and spit it out… inside was a bit sour and the outer shell practically disintegrated in my mouth… not a big fan of eating BADDESSERTS… the other thing i had was apparently another traditional dessert… it was a heavy and dense«thing»(the best way that i could describe it)…was not too sweet, and just was not my cup of tea so i tossed it too… i dunno… if you are craving a dessert, id recommend just stuffing your face full of gelato JUSTDONTCOMEHERE… oh, and did i mention the food behind the display glass has over a dozen flies flying around in it… yeah, thats nasty too.

It doesn’t get any better than this! I used to think that Ferrara in Manhattan was the place. I was misguided. The staff is so friendly and the bread and treats are heavenly. What would you expect from a bakery only a short walk from St. Peter’s Square and the Vatican. The food here is a taste of Heaven.
