A great spot if you’re going to tour the Vatican. Don’t be put off by the strange basement location. The service is amazing! The waiter could see I wasn’t thrilled with the pasta options and suggested that he have the chef create something light for me – and it was THEBEST gluten free PASTA I had in Rome. Really they should have it on their menu — light summer veggies in pasta. Perfect on a hot day! The salmon was so — so. The gluten free pizzas were also predicable for Rome — solidly good. Wouldn’t hesitate go to back.

For Rome, it was a nice, affordable place with friendly owners. Like REALLY friendly, I went 3 nights in a row, as I was staying upstairs, and got kissed on the MOUTH. Not a tourist trap. The pizza is the bomb. They have a million combinations and the crust is great. They have this crazy«cheese salad» and it’s basically a whole ball of cheese, grilled and covered in proscuitto. Cheese blob. There arugula and pear salad is nice.

I ate dinner here my 1st night in Rome. I had never tried this place before and was so happy to find it. It is near the hospital just off Viale Di Trastevere. Are: Suppli(fried rice ball with cheese) Mixed green salad Tagolinni with thin slices of zuchini and speck(like ham) Liter bottle of natural water Total: 18 euros Really good food. The place was packed with Romans(a good sign). I will return to try more food again… like some pizza ;0)

Outstanding food and service. Very personable owner, hard working and hustling all the time to ensure his guests have a memorable experience. We have been to the restaurant our second day in Rome, tried some other recommended places, but found nothing to compare. We went back for our final meal here as we wanted a great lasting memory. The fried trio was great, red house wine the right temperature, foccasia(sp) was hot from oven and, sorry mom, the pasta was the best we’ve had.
