Ginger Sapori e Salute

Horrible food. I have to admit that we were a part of a «tour package» so it was a preset menu, with only 2 choices for entrée… But in our party of 6, NO ONE liked their food. Dry, over cooked meats, flavorless «pea» burger… It was a horrible choice. Fortunately we had been in the city a few days and know this was not representative of the food in Rome… Do not waist your time or money. There is way too many wonderful places in this beautiful city!

Venu pour un petit déjeuner, nous avons finalement opté pour un déjeuner.
Les smoothies étaient très bon et le choix était large. Les plats étaient très bons mais pas donné (16 – 18 € par plats, portions gastronomique). C’était très bon, mention spéciale pour le Tiramisu à tomber!
Le cadre est très agréable!

This restaurant had my favorite atmosphere! The 20 minute wait was well worth it. They have so many choices of sandwiches, fruits, salads, pastas and drinks to choose from. I was extremely happy with my choice of the tropical fruit platter and aperol spritz. I wanted to try everything on their menu, it was all so fresh! highly recommend and if I am ever in Rome again I will sure be stopping here

A diferencia de las otras reseñas, a mi si me gusto este local.
El lugar es precioso, es bastante grande, tiene una decoración muy linda, con toda su materia prima a la vista, lo que da una impresión mas natural del lugar. Tiene mesas en el interior como en e exterior para las personas fumadoras o las que quieran pasar con sus mascotas.
Tiene una carta bastante amplia y buena, si estoy de acuerdo que los precios son altos, pero convengamos que esta en una zona cara de la ciudad.
Como pasamos con la expectativa de un almuerzo rápido optamos por los paninis gourmet, yo pedí el consolato (jamón, palta y tomate) y mi hermana el belisario (tomate, queso mozzarella tipo buffalo y pesto), ambos estaban exquisitos, el pan estaba muy fresco y todos los ingredientes iban a la perfección.
La atención me pareció que sobresalía demasiado, desde la persona que te recibía, hasta el que te atendía. Los mozos eran muy amables y buena onda, hasta me ayudaron un poco con mi intento de italiano, eran rápidos para tomar los pedidos y traerlos, estaban siempre atentos a todo.
Si me encuentro otra vez en Roma, volvería sin dudarlo y lo recomendaria.

I loved this place. It was awesome to enjoy vegetables, fruit and grains after so much pasta, pizza and bread!!!
We went for an early dinner about 7pm and it was packed. Service could have been a wee bit quicker but the meals were great. Healthy and satisfying. The pistachio Crème brûlée was yummy.
They still had pastas but a little more interesting than most.
Mojitos were delicious. We’re going back for the fruit platters!

Decent food but the service was lacking. The favorite part about the restaurant is the ambiance. Good place for quick lunch not dinner.

A very chic place, everything here is organic and tastes pretty healthy. It’s a good spot for a fast lunch. They also have fresh juices that was pretty nice.

Definitely the place to go to for healthy delish food! I love the salad and smoothies! A good resto for those who are going for a healthy lifestyle!

Place has really nice decoration, staff was nice and prompt.

Lovely market café-​style restaurant from Turin, showing a modern take on Italian cuisine. The salads are enormous and big enough for two to share — definitely pay the extra one euro to top with freshly sliced prosciutto or bresaola. Tap water is complimentary and includes both still and sparkling. The sandwiches are also quite good, all made with baguettes.
Servers are dressed in pork pie hats and aprons to complement the atmosphere, but are a bit more removed. Had to flag down for more water and to take the order a few times.
Overall a nice spot for a light lunch and people watching in modern Roma!

We loved being able to come here for fruit, smoothies, and nice sandwiches with our family. A nice change from the other restaurants with traditional Italian offerings. The location is great for a stop during shopping, or for a before-​dinner snack.

«sapori e salute» ! C’est beau et c’est bon ! Après, en passant devant et en regardant un peu la clientèle, la déco, etc. on se dit vite, oullllaaaaaaaah, ça c’est du resto de luxe pour romains aisés, ce qui est un peu le cas, mais pas trop.
Les prix sont certes un peu supérieurs à la moyenne, mais les plats sont supers, le service de haut niveau et les ingrédients sont de qualité !
Que ce soit pour un smoothie dans l’après midi fait avec les tonnes de fruits (vraiment y’en a partout, c’est impressionnant), un spirtz en apéro ou un un plat de pâtes le soir; c’est parfait. La petite terrasse près de la rue commerçante n’est pas trop oppressante, à l’intérieur c’est un peu trop bling bling pour moi et un peu trop blanc.
La déco est hyper moderne et ça tranche avec les vieilles ruelles de Rome, tous les serveurs et serveuses ont un chapeau et un uniforme; ça peut faire peur mais si vous passez tout près, arrêtez-​vous et préparez-​vous pour un moment bonheur !

I was very excited to find a vegan and fresh place to eat in Rome, but I was night disappointed when my food came. My salad was soggy, my smoothie was warm and bitter, and the servers were rude. Nothing I ordered was worth eating.

Overpriced but you get what you pay for in this location. Fresh smoothies, great baguette sandwiches, cute atmosphere. This place gets pretty packed– so come early to beat the crown or in the late afternoon.
I had the baguette with Prague ham, mozzarella, tomato, arugula, evoo and watermelon, mint, and lime smoothie. Loved it! Awesome for lunch!

Nice place in a nice location. Outside sitting. Organic salads, vegan salads, healthy food, smoothies, aloe vera drinks.

Un lugar muy bonito hasta el mínimo detalle, mucha gente. La comida esta muy buena, creo que hemos tenido mala suerte y el segundo plato se olvidaron y esperamos casi 25′. No parecía lo habitual porque mesas cercanas fueron mucho más rápido. Pedí sopa de setas y cerdo (12 €) y salmón con arroz basmati (15 €). Todo muy bueno y sabroso, pero de precio excesivo. Sin postre ni café ni vino, agua.

El sitio está muy bien decorado y la gente trabaja rápido. Es eficiente. Desgraciadamente nos hicieron esperar mucho cuando pedimos salmón porque debieron olvidarlo. Por eso le quito una estrella.
Le quitó otra porque la relación calidad/​precio no me parece adecuada, una sopa de patata y calabacín no vale 8 pavos y el trocito de salmón con arroz blanco tampoco vale 15. Dos personas sin postre, vino, entrantes. 55 pavos.
En fin, llegaba esperanzado y no me ha gustado ni la mitad de lo que esperaba

had the tuna with thyme and citrus marinade. it was beyond exceptional. the playing was stunning and everything was exceptional. all flavors were executed perfectly. the pinch of black sea salt is what really did this for me.
also had a great salad with bacon, pumpkin and pomegranate. everything was delightful about this as well, except the bacon was a tad too fatty for a salad for me.
service is average… no interaction with your waitress except to take your order and pay the bill…
My friend had a steak which was quite nice. large portions for both of us.
I like that they advertise take away… makes it easier to step away from such amazing food!

We stumbled on Ginger after shopping along the Via del Corso, and stopped for a much-​needed cold drink and bite to eat. I had a delicious, freshly-​made juice and shared a large salad with my mom. I could certainly imagine this being a regular favorite if I lived in Rome — Ginger offers a nice change of pace from the heavier, pasta-​laden meals you find elsewhere.

I WISH there was a way to give a 7 star on a 5 star scale! This has become my absolute favorite restaurant in Italy!
It’s located in via del corso which is a beautiful area full of so many shopping stores, coffee shops, restaurants, and more. Stores go from designers to affordable stores. Okay, back to Ginger now.
This place has everything from sandwiches with all kinds of meat, pastas, and the best part are the last two pages of the menu: Smoothies with fresh organic fruits, milkshakes, organic teas and coffees, desserts and more.
In this restaurant I had the absolute best pesto Gnocchi, Meat Tortellini, Turkey sandwhich in a baguette bread, coffee cake dessert, mango/​ginger smoothie, and the peach and berry aloe vera alcohol-​free shots. All of the above were 5 out of 5! Absolutely perfect.
I simply love this place due to its large option of organic and fresh drinks as well as their selection of sandwiches, and many options of unique desserts!!!

We were referred to Ginger by a local. The food was really, really great — locally sourced, reasonably priced, and AMAZING! They also have great drinks and smoothies. Such a great break from all of the pasta, pasta, and more pasta you find in Rome, and a little off the beaten path so it isn’t quite so «touristy.» My Italian was pretty good by that time in our trip, so it was nice to be able to call them and ask about hours in Italian.
We actually ended up eating there twice, it was so good!

Notre plus grosse erreur aurait été de né pas y entrer. Nous sommes passés devant une fois, deux fois, trois fois sans nous arrêter. Nous avons été frappés par sa luminosité, son volume, attirés par les jambons rebondis pendus derrière le bar à sandwiches, tentés par les paniers débordants d’énormes citrons sur le comptoir. Qu’est-ce qui nous a retenus? Cette ambiance trop propre, trop neuve peut-​être, cet affichage trop ostensible du bio-​bon-​vrai, sapori e salute, tout semblait nous dire: ô vous éco-​citoyens aisés, venez donc passer quelque minutes et dépenser quelques deniers, en prenant soin de la planète, de vos corps, et de vos âmes. Ça semblait trop artificiel, ça nous a plusieurs fois refroidis.
Et puis, il faut bien assumer ce que l’on est, quand on en a eu marre d’aller de Charybde en Scylla côté pizzeria et autres restaurants romains pour touristes, nous avons franchi le seuil, et né l’avons pas regretté. Les jus de fruits frais sont délicieux, et si leurs ingrédients semblent improbables, n’ayez pas peur: ils s’accordent très bien, et chacun reste, de façon surprenante, identifiable dans le mélange. Côté sandwiches, le pain (ah! une croute croustillante! Une mie qui né ressemble pas à du polystyrèné) comme les ingrédients sont de qualité. Les pâtes sont cuites al dente selon le gout local, assaisonnées avec harmonie. Les salades, simples ou plus déconcertantes, mettent en valeur leurs produits frais sans les masquer sous un déluge de sauce (‘assaisonnement est laissé à vos soins). Les planches de charcuterie et fromages sont généreuses et bonnes.
Côté service, les pauvres, ils courent (il faut dire, ça marche, leur formule!), mais ils gardent sourire et politesse, sans être serviles. L’attente n’est en général pas trop longue (il arrive toutefois qu’une commande se perde dans la bataille). Le fond sonore m’a semblé agréable, pas trop assourdissant malgré l’open-space et les blenders en continu.
Autant dire que nous y sommes retournés de bon cœur, et que l’on aimerait bien une adresse comparable près de chez nous!
