I so enjoyed this restaurant! Had I stayed longer in Rome I think I would have come here more than once. They have a prix fixe menu that has an appetizer, first course, second course, dessert, glass of wine and coffee for 30 euro. That’s a pretty amazing deal! To be honest, I felt like all of that would’ve been too much food, so just had an appetizer, first course, dessert and wine and left full and happy. Even getting all that felt like a real deal. I’ll be attaching photos — but as a description, I Had the buffala mozzarella and prosciutto. It was presented so beautifully — the mozzarella was in the middle and the slices of prosciutto folded over it, almost like flower petals. On the side was a small, crispy, deep fried additional piece of mozzarella with«crispy praline» — not quite sure what that was meant to be, but it was a bit too much on top of the mozzarella and prosciutto, I think.(Don’t get me wrong — I ate it, I’m not stupid! :)). First course I had the tonnarello cacio di fossa, pepe e carciofi — basically, cacio e pepe, a great quality parmesan like cheese and black pepper, only this version also had artichokes, which I really like(and which, of course, are a Roman specialty). There was a small bread basket and it was worth the extra carbs to dip a piece or two of bread in the olive oil that remained. Again, I did not have a secondi dish, but they looked amazing. Instead, I chose to have dessert — just something simple, homemade vanilla ice cream on a crispy waffle. Simple and delicious. Some kind of funky shaped cookie came on top, which I tasted but didn’t care for; maybe a unique type of biscotti? There was also a delicious sauce on the side and the combination was perfect. The wine that is included is the«house wine» — which was a Montepulciano di Abruzzo(at least this night it was, not sure whether it changes), and just by coincidence, this is one of my favorite wines. It was delicious and rounded out the meal well. I went alone and read my book as I ate, and the servers were a nice mix of checking in with me and leaving me in peace to enjoy my meal. A really nice, quiet evening after a long week of hard work and travel, and most welcome!

Great food, wine and friendly staff. After leaving to find somewhere else we came back within 30mins and were welcomed with open arms by the extremely service minded and customer focused receptionist. As promised the food(2 pasta dishes and dessert) were well made fresh and tasted wonderful. The wine was well suited, if not slightly expensive @ 5 € per glass. The décor and atmosphere is a lounge feel with a fairly young crowd, with a mix of large groups and couples. The owner(co-owner of adjacent hotel) whom we met, when leaving explained that the chef is Roman as she herself is.
